酒店華麗， 房間舒適 ，懷石料理一流， 員工逐一介紹食物及食嘅次序， 溫泉寬敞， 還有露天的。 雖然酒店位置是不方便，但有提供免費穿梭巴士接送。 值得推介。

房內的私人風呂出不了熱水，港幣5000多元1晚的房租卻換來一肚子氣，酒店只答應退款¥10,000/晚作賠償，但預訂私人風呂的房間就是想自由自在地享用，最後我們只能到大浴場浸溫泉，非常掃興，這豈能是¥10,000就能補償得了？整個假期最期待的環節完全泡湯, 酒店的服務態度亦強差人意，對客人遇到的問題毫無補救之心，欠缺誠意。極度差評。

If you are staying here it is awesome. Might be tricky getting there and getting food if not B&B but the place is amazing. My only downside was in my dietary requirements but the food that i could eat was delicious

お部屋が広くて、のんびりできました。

The staff was very friendly, and the food presentation was good. However, we were disappointed that the mist sauna didn’t work, and there was no cold pool available; all the pools were very hot, making it difficult to cool off. The menu is entirely Japanese with no substitutions or accommodations for dietary restrictions, and while tea is available, there is no coffee. Also, because of the remote location, the lack of nearby restaurants or convenience stores made me feel somewhat trapped. The property itself is dated and showing its age, with the restaurant and bar closed permanently. Although the library offers a pretty setting, it was unlit, and the heat was off, rendering it unusable.

The room was very big with a beautiful view of the forest. There was a nice wooden bath in the room and a very large communal bath. The breakfast and dinner were delicious, but there is only Japanese food and green tea, so if you want something else you should take it with you. All in all it was a wonderful ryokan experience at a very reasonable price.

The only way to get out here is by shuttle. This was not explained anywhere, and we were lucky we asked when we were at Kameoka station. It's a beautiful area, but the building itself is a little dated (80s).

I absolutely loved this ryokan. The pictures online do not do it justice; the property is even better in person. The staff were very welcoming. The meals were amazing. The property was bigger than I thought it would be. The setting was peaceful. It was exactly what I was looking for. My only recommendation is that the shuttle from the train station should have a sign with the name of the property.

멋진 료칸입니다. 시설,서비스,음식 모두 최고입니다.

교토 시내에서 약40분 운전이 필요한 곳입니다. 한적한 곳에 있어서 아주 조용합니다. 개별 노천탕이 있는 방에 묵었는데 온수는 심야전까지 뜨겁게 나왔고 일정시간이 지나 늦은 밤엔 약간 미즈근한 온도가 되었습니다. 다시 이른 새벽부터는 아주 따뜻했습니다. 다만 욕조가 너무 작아 성인1인이 들어가면 꽉 찰 정도로 2인이 동시에 들어가기는 어렵습니다. 석식조식 모두 푸짐하게 잘 나왔습니다. 방에서 보이는 작은 정원을 한참동안 넋을 놓고 보고만 있어도 좋은데 때마침 흩날리는 눈빨에 분위기가 더 극적으로 되었습니다. 나중에 꼭 다시 오고 싶습니다. 진심 아주 훌륭했습니다.

よい旅館でした。大規模宴会をするにはうってつけの場所ですが、ファミリーで楽しめる施設は周辺も含めて多くありません。

Most amazing onsen ryokan I've ever been.

Beautiful grounds, real hot springs onsen. We thought the ryokan dinner was included in the room rate but it was not. There was no restaurant in the hotel, although it looks like there used to be. Very beautiful and clean grounds, gardens. Our room had a small garden and outdoor onsen tub with water from the hot springs. The breakfast was fantastic, very authentic Japanese foods. Futon beds very comfortable.

This is a nice Traditional Japanese Ryokan. The service was excellent but be warned they do not speak English. Tatoos are not allowed in the communal bath ares either but some rooms have a private bath. Overall it was a good stay and a nice experience.

Syoenso Hozugawatei is a wonderful property and the facilities are as advertised. One thing I would note is to be sure of your travels plans as it is remote and difficult to get to by public transit, and the shuttle must be reserved in advance and only runs limited hours. Additionally, there is no food or bar as advertised on Expedia. Please make sure to make meal reservations in advance as they will not accommodate same day requests, and there is NO option for food within or around the hotel. The closest is a little over a mile walk to a Lawson's.

Great experience with Ryokan type of hotel and culture

The hotel offered my wife and myself a great opportunity to enjoy a unique japanese experience.
