The brief 3 night stay was amazing! Fantastic location close to convenience stores, malls and train stations. The room was very upmarket and comfortable. The waterfall shower feature was incredible and there was a water station on every level if you wanted hot/cold water to drink. Highly recommended!

這個是舒適度很高的酒店 房間的設計係經過細心考慮令客人感覺方便，浴缸和沖涼的地方一點都沒有漏水到其他範圍，被鋪睡袍都係用嘅高質素物料，對此尤其滿意

The staying at The Gate Kyoto for seven days was a fantastic experience. First of all, the staff gave us a very warm welcome during check-in. The room was very modern and clean. There's also a lounge on the third floor where we almost went for a drink every night. The breakfast was very plentiful; we had Japanese breakfast every day during our stay. It was a very enjoyable stay.

服務越來越差… 這是第二次來住 ，進門後 發現冷氣晚上 沒反應，call櫃檯 請人來處理，過了約5分鐘後…來女服務員來到房間，竟然不脫鞋子直接踩來房間地毯區，服務員用英語說話語氣 很快 、大聲，態度又不佳，竟然態度不佳 的質問我們 何時打開冷氣…😱最後等到約20分鐘後冷氣才正常 …另早餐的西餐 （吐司）實在 難下嚥 （像泡到油的吐司）….

房間的環境舒適，早餐用餐環境視野也很棒，周遭機能極佳，一切的住宿體驗都很棒！

Good location, high degree of cleanliness. The performances in the retreat room on the 3/F were surprises to us and very entertaining.

不可思议，能把一个小学改为如此好的酒店，从服务到房间及早餐皆非常非常满意。

房間大又十分整潔，景觀極美，位置優越，酒店餐廳好，附近餐飲購物出行都很方便，已經向朋友推薦，非常滿意的住宿體驗，下次到京都會再選擇這間酒店！

超級滿意的新酒店，位於河原町鴨川旁，餐廳商店雲集，祇園、花見小路、錦市場、商店街全部步行距離，交通極方便。房間十分寬敞、乾淨，而且景觀一流，設計用心。大力推薦酒店的早餐，buffet貴精不貴多，橙汁、乳酪、包點、生果全部都很高質，尤其日式早餐main course性價比很高。酒店的服務也非常好，細心周到。 酒店的晚餐也是性價比之選，每道菜都很有水準（牛、羊、咖喱都極好），甜品超棒，如果太累或天氣原因不想在外面找餐廳，不如舒服清靜地在酒店享用晚餐，絕對有大驚喜。 總體來說是性價比非常高的酒店，來京都一定會再次入住！

Great location. Walking distance to stores, restaurant

I loved this hotel for MOST things. The only thing I wasn't happy with is the cleanliness. I am very picky when it comes to clean rooms. When we arrived there was a stain on the comforter and then when they took that off the mattress pad was stained and dirty. They replaced all of it right away and were very apologetic and gave us a couple of free drinks at the bar. Other than that, everything was great. I loved the layout of the room as it was nice for multiple people. Ie: one could shower while the other used the toilet / got ready. The top floor had the bar and the patio with lovely views, as well as the breakfast which was great! It's located in a cute part of the city with so many stores and restaurants nearby. However, it still felt like a cozy and quaint part of the city. It's about a 7ish min walk from the train. We loved our stay.

We had a great 6 night stay at The Gate Hotel! Comfy beds, good breakfast and so much to do within walking distance. Location is Amazing!!!!!

Very comfortable western style hotel in a central position with easy walking and transport connections. Bed comfortable and breakfast good.

The hotel had a relay good size hotel room and really helpful staff. The location was good enough in general for transport and restaurants (walking distance to Pontocho). The station nearest stations were a little far but walkable. There were plenty of shop walkable from the hotel including Nishiki market. A very comfortable stay and a good hotel.

The best hotel I've ever stayed at. Staff are so incredibly helpful and the facilities are amazing! The location is also perfect for food and sightseeing. Couldn't recommend higher!

A fantastic stay at The Gate. The hotel was in a fantastic location, close to shops and restaurants but also next to transport links to access all of Kyoto. The hotel was very clean and the lounge was perfect for drinks and snacks after a busy day.

It was great clean and quiet property. Only area of opportunity is to make breakfast more diverse. The breakfast had limited options.
