I highly recommend this hotel. Prime location with just 3 minutes walk to the Hokan-ji, 8 minutes to Kodaiji and Kiyomizu. Service was superb. Staff were very friendly and they really tried their best to make you feel like home. Haven’t experienced this level of great hospitality in a long while. The hotel itself is also like a beautiful artpiece with contemporary interior while reserving the heritage and history (it’s converted from a school). 10/10 hands down

My son and I stayed at Seiryu Kyoto hotel for 4 nights and enjoyed their beautiful grounds, amazing staff, superb views, and delicious meals and snacks. The room was impeccable, with every detail in place, and the lounge and restaurants upheld very high standards.

위치와 분위기, 라운지 서비스 면에서 특히 매우 만족하였습니다. 닌넨자카 산넨자카 전통거리가 도보 3분, 기요미즈데라(청수사)까지 도보 10분 이내로 갈 수 있는 매우 훌륭한 위치의 호텔입니다. 교토역까지는 도보 5분거리에 있는 버스정류장을 이용해 편하게 오갔고 체크아웃 날은 아침이라 혹시 몰라서 예약을 요청해두었는데 미리 딱 대기하고 있어서 여행 마무리를 잘했습니다. 옛 초등학교를 리모델링한 건물이라고 하는데 매우 깨끗하고 단정한 분위기였습니다. 조식의 가짓수는 적은 편이지만 메인메뉴, 특히 일본식 도시락(벤또)이 예뻐서 만족했고 초등학생 아이도 치즈 스크램블 에그와 팬케이크를 맛있게 먹었습니다. 이 호텔의 압권은 게스트 라운지와 미니바입니다. 클럽이나 이규제큐티브 라운지 수준의 훌륭한 라운지를 모든 투숙객이 제한없이 이용할 수 있는데 간단한 음식과 와인, 차 등이 상당히 수준 높아서 아주 만족했습니다. 뜨거운 여름 날씨에 오아시스 같은 곳이었고, 호텔 직원들의 서비스 또한 매우 친절했습니다. 부모님을 모시고 날씨 좋을 때 다시 오고 싶은 교토 호텔입니다.

You know how they say Japanese service is second to none? The Hotel Seiryu in Kyoto Kiyomizu takes that concept to a whole new level. Everything from the welcome tour to the hotel to the impeccably kept guest lounge to the breakfast in the library is accompanied with top-of-the-line service. Needless to say, the staff was very friendly, but they also went above and beyond when giving recommendations an d fulfilling special requests. One thing that really struck me was that the hotel is located in such a way where it would be an excellent stay for both family and couples alike. When staying here, you will be right next to Kiyomizu-zaka, the bustling sampler of Kyoto culture and delights. However, the moment you step up to the gates of The Hotel Seiryu, silence. You really can't get it better than that.

Absolute luxury experience at the best location in all of Kyoto. Easily walkable to a number of sites, allowing one to beat the crowd early in the morning. The grounds are impeccable, as is the service. We loved our stay.

Cannot emphasize enough how AMAZING this hotel is! We had originally reserved a 3 night stay and upon an hour at the hotel we knew we wanted to extend our reservation and snagged the last room for an additional night. From the immaculate attention to detail, to superb customer relations and ideal location you simply cannot top it. Worth every penny.
