As announced by Royal Malaysian Customs Department, Tourism Tax is imposed starting 1 January 2023 for all hotel guests that are non-Malaysian or non-permanent Residents of Malaysia. Please expect that hotel will collect the Tourism Tax from you during check-in at the hotel. The Tourism Tax rate is 10 RM per room per night.

Effective from 1st January 2025, the Melaka State Government imposed a mandatory MYR 4.00 Heritage Tax Fee per occupied room per night for all hotel accommodation. This fee may change without prior notice. This fee will be collected by hotel upon guest arrival.

great location with a really beautiful view from the lovely balcony. I stayed in the river suite room for one night. the room is spacious. the bathroom is beyond expectation. only the downside is the breakfast still I would definitely choose to stay in 1828 gallery hotel whenever I come to Malacca again !

The hotel was originally an old house, whose style is traditional. Now, it is changed to a new hotel with modern style as well as a hint of tradition.

酒店入住体验不是很好：1、无窗，但是这个信息在Hotels的网站上没有显示。2、不包含早餐，我是用Hotels的手机客户端定的，也没有显示（但是网页端是有显示的），我还一直以为这个价格是包含早餐的。3、入住的时候，我要求办两张房卡，前台居然不肯，我问为什么，他说他们一直是这样。我说，你确定？！他说是的。我没有当场说什么，结果可能过了一阵子他自己觉得不好意思，又做了一张给我送过来。4、房间没人清扫，不叫人就不会来主动整理。5、有线电视没几个台是清晰的，其余的全是雪花点。
