During my stay, I found the accommodations to be quite satisfactory and the surroundings to be pleasant. The majority of the points of interest, such as restaurants, bars, grocery stores, and massage parlors, are conveniently located within walking distance. The room was well-maintained, and the staff provided exceptional service. The breakfast was delicious, and they also offer a daily high tea. I highly recommend this establishment.

23 Lovelane Hotel Penang住宿政策及一般資訊

As announced by Royal Malaysian Customs Department, Tourism Tax is imposed starting 1 January 2023 for all hotel guests that are non-Malaysian or non-permanent Residents of Malaysia. Please expect that hotel will collect the Tourism Tax from you during check-in at the hotel. The Tourism Tax rate is 10 RM per room per night.
Deposit Policy
Deposit 0 is required upon check-in. The accommodation accepts cash, debit or credit card.

Smoking is prohibited in the accommodation.
Pets are not allowed in the accommodation.
Effective from June 1, 2014, the City Council of Penang will impose a Local Council Tax of MYR 3 per room per night for 4 and 5-star hotels, and MYR 2 per room per night for 0 to 3-star hotels. The star rating will be in accordance to the rating from Local Council and should the rating differ from the website, the local council rating will apply. This fee is payable directly to the hotel upon check-in and is not included in the room rate and taxes stated herein.
Car park is owned and managed by state government. Guest who wish to get a car park before arrival are strongly encourage to contact hotel at least 24 hour before arrival. Hotel will assist to arrange car park for you.

It was quite a different experience if you always staying in the modern hotel. This hotel itself was an old house yet air-condiontion, shower room were up to standard. The best adventage of this hotel is it's location, whatever you went out for sight-seeing, food, coffee, massage and night drink in the bar, you just need to take a few steps. But you might be attacted by mosquito or disturbed by nosies of motor cycle at night. All in all, you will meet friendly staff and house mates, harmonious and peace atmosphere and without excessive human noise.

1) HKD400plus you can try a chainstore hotel in Penang, but I choose this boutique hotel that provides me deferenciate experience. 2) good cafe and shops, street art and heritage building nearby. 3) Staff peaceful & helpful. 4) Each room holds a different style, provide crabtree and evelyn soap and CoCo oil body wash. 5) free welcome drink and afternoon tea.

My husband and I had an amazing stay at 23 Love Lane. We arrived hours before check-in, and the staff were incredibly accommodating, storing our luggage while we explored and preparing our room early.
Set in a beautifully restored colonial-era building, the hotel blends British, Indian, and Chinese influences with antique furnishings and contemporary art. Our room was a perfect mix of mid-century modern décor, wooden floors, and a large, comfy bed.
The location is ideal, within walking distance of famous street art, restaurants and night markets, Chinatown, Little India, historic jetties, and the esplanade. Though in a lively area, the hotel’s lush gardens offer a peaceful retreat, where we enjoyed reading and enjoying the company of Orange and Mac, the resident cats.
Breakfast was simple yet delicious, starting with a continental spread and followed by à la carte options. A lovely touch was the complimentary 4 PM high tea, with delightful sweet and savory treats.
The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help, making our stay even more special. We’re so happy we chose 23 Love Lane and will definitely stay again when we return to Penang. Highly recommended!

We were greeted by Janet at the check-in desk. She was so friendly and helpful. We had an issue with the AC in our room. She made sure it was taken care of and also followed up on the matter. The rest of the staff were very courteous. I highly recommend Love Lane Hotel to other visitors.

You are not regret choosing this little oasis in the middle of Georgetown. Love lane is where all the good food is right adjacent and it’s great walkable to everywhere. Lovingly restored and nice, soft beds and great pillows.
