Ming Garden Hotel And Residence住宿政策及一般資訊
As announced by Royal Malaysian Customs Department, Tourism Tax is imposed starting 1 January 2023 for all hotel guests that are non-Malaysian or non-permanent Residents of Malaysia. Please expect that hotel will collect the Tourism Tax from you during check-in at the hotel. The Tourism Tax rate is 10 RM per room per night.

Swimming Pool closed temporarily from 13-3-2024 to 14-3-2024.

Accommodation charges MYR 49.00/guest for extra breakfast.
Breakfast at the accommodation will be provided from 06:30 - 10:30.
Pets are not allowed in the accommodation.
Extra-person charges may apply and vary depending on hotel policy. Government-issued photo identification and a credit card or cash deposit are required at check-in for incidental charges. Special requests are subject to availability upon check-in and may incur additional charges. Special requests cannot be guaranteed.

Starting on 20 Jun 17, hotel is implementing new payment method via Alipay, this is for guest with Alipay account and they can use it within the hotel property to pay for anything.

Starting from 1st July 2017, Ming Garden Hotel & Residences Kota Kinabalu is going to implement a few changes as below:-

1. Shuttle bus (to town) = MYR 5.00 per person with 1 bottle of drinking water
(Return trip from town to the hotel is free of charge but based on seat
availability)

2. Vending massage chair will be placed at Residence lobby and also at Rosewood Lounge. Different charges for different length of use (MYR 1.00 = 3 minutes, MYR 5.00= 15 minutes, MYR 10.00 = 30 minutes)

3. Laundry = 10% discount of the laundry total bill for in-house guest

Effective 1 September 2017, hotel guests who are non-Malaysian or non-Permanent Residents of Malaysia are required to pay a tourism tax of MYR 10 nett per night per room for all registered hotels with the Malaysian Government. This is in addition to the existing taxes that could be collected at the hotel upon check-in. Please check with the hotel upon arrival regarding these taxes.
