這是喬治城的古舊建築，以前是養馬的馬房。整間酒店的裝修都保留住昔日的古典味道，又有相當的現代感，很有精品酒店的感覺。這是我第二次入住。早餐的做法好像跟上一次不一樣，但用餐的環境依然令人身心舒暢。房間很大，而且裝潢很多都不一樣。酒店附設有個公共的交誼廳，是庇鄰的古老大宅改建而成，入面有舒適的座椅，也有古董麻雀（但翻來看，原來是橋牌）供住客耍樂。很有趣。

終於能夠住到典型、傳統的檳城喬治城古舊大屋。無論公共地方或房間內的佈置，均有老大宅的感覺。酒店設計者又在其中加入了現代的家具元素，令整體觀感又不失現代味道。這是很好很好的住宿。 原本以為MUNTRI MEWS酒店只有一座建築，卻原來它在同一條街巷有幾座老屋，都是MUNTRI MEWS的，住大房間的客人，只要走過對面馬路的老屋，就可享受自成一閣的居住體驗，很貼地，很有風味。 MUNTRI MEWS的資料顯示沒有泳池設施，也不供應免費泊車。我們租了車，一直也擔心泊車的問題。誰知原來酒店位處的街巷有公眾泊車位置，而且十分方便，只要買檳城當地的泊車咭，就可以隨便泊，而且跟所住的地方也很接近。至於泳池，原來只要入住時向櫃台表達你的「渴望」，他們會提供解決的辦法。至於解決辦法是甚麼，留待你們自己去發掘。記住，訂MUNTRI MEWS，一定要帶泳裝。 不要錯過在酒店餐室吃早餐。現點現造的早餐固然是焦點，但更重是餐廳位置夾在兩座老屋之間的小巷，早晨陽光未直射，又有涼風送爽，可以為你美好的一天揭開序幕。 說到房間，其實好漂亮，美中不足者，就是有地氈。我們懷疑這些地氈養了不少蚤子，晚上踏在地氈上，足部就覺得很痕癢。所以，在室內一定要穿拖鞋。

All staff are nice and helpful. Our room is on the 2nd floor. Staff helps to pick up all the luggage upstairs.Rooms and Breakfast also wonderful. Coffee and hot milk provided. Hotel is near Chulia street night market. I will recommend to everyone I know and come back next year. Wonderful Holiday in Muntri Mews!!!

As announced by Royal Malaysian Customs Department, Tourism Tax is imposed starting 1 January 2023 for all hotel guests that are non-Malaysian or non-permanent Residents of Malaysia. Please expect that hotel will collect the Tourism Tax from you during check-in at the hotel. The Tourism Tax rate is 10 RM per room per night.

Deposit 0 is required upon check-in. The accommodation accepts cash, debit or credit card.

Due to the design of accommodations and the general layout of the hotel, all children must be accompanied by an adult at all times to ensure their safety.

Effective from June 1, 2014, the City Council of Penang will impose a Local Council Tax of MYR 2 per room per night for hotel stay. This fee is payable directly to the hotel upon check-in and is not included in the room rate and taxes stated herein.

We are six college classmates staying in one room. The room is absolutely amazing with its cultural decoration and the price is worth value. Inside, you can get spacious place to gather together. We enjoyed a nice yet simple breakfast. However, it’s easy to get disturbed by one another while sleeping. The worst of all is that I don’t know why the femal receptionist possessed a negative attitude toward us, maybe we look poor or we look like Chinese? Either one should be an excuse for being such disdainful. We sincerely felt it after comparing other western guests, quite disappointed.
