Great Thai restaurant. Resort is peaceful and quiet considering no children under 12 is allow so mostly couples. Kids only allow when having booking at dinning restaurant. Overall experience are good and would love to revisit.

A great hotel conveniently located. 35 min speed boat is not far at all. We stayed at Anantara Veli, only adults, so very quiet. Great view and great amenities. Food is reasonably good except a bit pricy. The best part is that there are plenty of activities to do while on the island (and the connecting island 5 min away). Snorkeling and kayaking are free. Diving, dolphin watches, jet ski, parachuting, spa... all avail for a price somewhere between ~$55 to $200 / person. Still a bit pricy if you add 23.2% service fee and tax on every item, but worth it if you are a water sport fan. Hotel room is quite big and comfortable (we stayed at Over Water Bungalow), very spacious for two. Bedding is soft and comfy, room cleanness however could be a bit better. Our bath tub didn't seem to be completely cleaned, but overall, a very pleasant hotel.

Husband and I have our first day in Veli and 4 other days in Dhigu. We arrived their office at airport at 12:30pm as they suggested. 2 more couples in the same room and we 3 couples have waited for another 50 minutes before getting onto the seaplane which we need to wait for another family landing. They not let you go first when not all people arrived.
Staffs are nice and friendly. Equipment for snorkeling is free. Restaurants shares with their sister island Dhigu, totally 7 restaurants. Pontoon is always ready to transfer between them. We tried 5 restaurants, price ranged from US100-250 per meal (2 pax). All are ok, can be better but still ok.
We paid for the event of fishing and snorkeling by going farer from the island. You can have your fishes as lunch if you fished some with another USD 35++ / head. You can play Ocean Kayak for free for 2 hours each day. Our room in Dhigu is Sunset Over-water Suite, our view from the bathroom is sea-view, however, you will find some guests playing their Kayak or swimming just in front of your bathroom, which the window is transparent and the semi-transparent curtain actually couldn’t cover the whole fullview glass window.
All expends on the island were charged to the room, you will need to pay one-stop at the end by either credit-card or cash. However, you will only need some cashes as tips to the workers. All expends are entitled 10% services charge and 6%(general products) or 8% (tourist products) GVT will be added on top.

在迪古住了2晚，薇莉住了3晚。下次去我会选择全程住迪古，只到薇莉就餐及浮潜，因为服务给我留下了不好的印象。但是要说的是，餐厅服务及客房服务都很好很热情，特别是泰国餐厅的服务员非常友好。大堂的接待员态度虽然保持着职业礼仪，但是能让人感觉到自己是不受欢迎的，虽然我们的英文没有欧美客人那么流畅，但是我想作为一个开放的岛，应该接待的是全世界持各国语言的客人吧。特别是离岛那天，我们收到的通知是17:30的快艇，但当我们16:45从迪古回到薇莉岛时，接待员已经在码头等候了，说我们迟到了，我跟他解释我们先去迪古岛喝了些饮料，他给了我一个白眼。后来才知道是酒店搞错了快艇时间，快艇是16:45离岛。这让我们在离开时带着并不美好的心情，因为这同一个接待员给我们的糟糕感受。

在预定的时候，也跟酒店发了信息，要一个位置好一点的房间，但是我们到达时发现水屋位置并不好，是沙滩与海的过渡地带，第一个水屋。别人的水屋下面都有珊瑚，都可以直接下水浮潜，但是我们的水屋下去就是沙滩，这是最大的遗憾！！！！

Veli is an amazing resort to visit. I cannot say enough about the staff at Veli. They were all so attentive to our needs and did everything in their capabilities to keep us happy. I really appreciated the management cocktail party because it gave us a chance to meet everyone who makes Veli such a wonderful experience. Loved Rifau, Prem, Ruth, and all the others who made our experience possible.

Very good hotel, food options good. Service generally very good let down once or twice especially in origami restaurant waited 45 mins for food. Also all inclusive is not really an all inclusive limited on options and certain dinners only 60 dollar credit. Other than that all good. Watch out for sneaky charges aka left sunscreen out no mention of charge till checkout time $19 dollars. Left out seemingly to be used as arrival gift. Placed smartly. Generally overall good stay.

I absolutely loved the islands Anantara Resort had to offer but they are small, so excursions are a must unless you don't mind getting bored and just relaxing. Our assigned host, Ali, was super helpful & fun to talk with! The staff overall are amazing!! I did book the Adults Only resort but was definitely not Adults only LOL It just means your villa and the ones around you are for adults but once you leave that specific island to go to another you're surrounded by children, also your island is open to families for dinner. So if you're looking for something truly Child free or id you're triggered by them do not book here. Otherwise you will still have a blast & yes you will be spending a lot of money as there is tax & services charges.

We had an amazing time at Anantara Veli, the property was spotless and so so charming. the staff were the best, ever so kind and helpful. Chef Subodh took such good care of us and made so many special dishes for us. Absolutely loved all the restaurants and cant wait to go back again.
