Granny's Inn - Hostel

Vanaf de 1e dag was de badkamer verstopt, waardoor de douchebak onder water stond en het water door de badkamer stroomde. Had dit doorgegeven aan het personeel, er zou iemand komen om het op te lossen. Maar mijn gehele verblijf (4 dgn) bleef dit probleem zich afspelen, ook waren de kitranden zwart van de schimmel en geen plankje oid om je spulletjes (doucheproducten) op neer te zetten. Ik mocht op een andere verdieping douchen,de wc hadden remsporen van de gasten die er gebruik van maakten. Vond het echt heel vies! De kamer was klein en ook hier weinig ruimte om je spullen op te bergen/neer te zetten. Er was een geimproviseerde "kapstok" met kleerhangers die heel hoog bevestigd was, net als ook de 3 draagplanken aan de muur die ik gebruikte om mijn handdoeken op te laten drogen, er stond een krukje die ik als nachtkastje gebruikte. De spiegel ook hoog, kon alleen mn gezicht in zien als ik op mn tenen ging staan. Het stopcontact naast het bed was handig om je tel op te laden maar niet handig wanneer je je haren moest fohnen voor de spiegel, een verlengsnoer zou handig zijn. De mini koelkast stond wankel op een paar betonblokken, elke keer de koelkast vasthouden om de deur te openen. Ventilator en airco waren fijn aangezien het heel warm werd in de kamer. Lieve eigenaars en medewerkers die mij tegemoet kwamen en mijn verblijf naar de zin probeerde te maken. De accomodatie is wel aan een grondige verbouwing, verfbeurt en verbetering toe;)

The room was exactly as I had hoped for, except for the building is not very isolated, so I recommend bringing ear plugs if you have sensitive ears and/or need to sleep well.

Esperaba un poco as del lugar, pero el lugar era limpio, fácil de llegar y los recepcionistas muy amables!

良かった点 タッフがすごく親切！お部屋には冷蔵庫、クーラー、無料の水、洗面台あり。シングルルームだったが、広さも丁度いい。ドライヤーも要リクエストで使用可能。 悪かった点 シャワーが少し使いにくい。エレベーターが無い。3泊したが清掃は入らない。フロントの時間が短い。

This hostel is exactly the type of hostel that I love to stay in. Very accommodating and friendly staff who have a great wealth of knowledge on Malta. A very clean hostel, the cleaning staff seem to do an amazing job every day. The common areas are ideal for relaxing in after a long day/night in the heat too, very peaceful. It's a great haven on a busy island.

Door locks are a bit dodgy and shower could be cleaner.

It was really good! The staff was nice and the rooms were very clean. One thing which was amazing was that they offered USB charging in the wall. Being Scandinavian, I was not prepared for the British plugs, so this was really good. Also, you could borrow an adapter for a 5€ deposit. The location was good. 1hr walk away from Valletta, bus stop 200 metres with two departures per hour, or 5 mins away with connections to the entire island. The beds were so comfy, and there was AC in the room. I highly recommend this.

I was here for 4 nights, it was a good location to travel around from, in a quiet neighbourhood in a traditional Maltese house. The dorm beds were fine, nothing special, you had your own cupboard to store your things, there was a sink in the room and shared bathrooms for the floor. I arrived late and the staff had left me instructions on how to check-on when they weren't there, everything went smoothly. It wasn't a party hostel but a good clean cheap place to stay. Good Wifi.

Clean comfortable hostel in great location in Sliema.

camera comoda, attrezzata con lavabo e frigo, scrivania e sedia. Non molto sicura la serratura ma non mi sono mai sentita a disagio. Quello che ho apprezzato meno è il materasso, molto molle, ma è questione di gusti personali. Tutto abbastanza usato ma tutto funzionante, accettabile per un ostello. Prezzi davvero convenienti, gestori e utenti molto simpatici. Ho apprezzato la cucina disponibile in comune e il distributore di cibi e bevande all'ingresso

Froid et sale. Drap pas propre. Je ne recommande pas.

The hostel is clean quite but the room is freezing cold and the blanket is too thin also will be better if they provide towel.
