Beautiful place , excellent service , attentive staff . Had to add a night on a weather related emergency. We were going from Fez to Merzouga and got caught in a snowstorm. We decided to turn around and go to Marrakech and so booked last minute . Staff was wonderful. Checked us in at midnight . Breakfast was super and room was beautiful . Spa looks amazing . We are coming back in a couple of days

We got the larger room and it was very nice. Continental breakfast was included and we had great service. The location is in the medina but at the edge, so although we encountered the Marrakesh traffic, we enjoyed it and it was one of the reasons we got a rental car. The property is beautiful and quiet. Room was clean.

This is not a Five Star quality stay.

Beautiful Riad Hotel in the very centre of Morocco. If you want to experience everything Morocco has to offer right in the middle of the city then this courtyard house hotel is a great find. It is small but the staff were great and very helpful. Convenient for the city and has a very traditional feel.

What made the stay even more memorable was the impeccable service led by Sophie’s daughter, Zoé, who manages the hotel with warmth, professionalism, and attention to every detail. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely cared for. Zoé went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction throughout the stay. This riad is not just a place to stay — it’s an experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for authenticity, beauty, and five-star hospitality in the heart of Marrakech. A true gem!

it was wonderful getting back to this lovely Riad each day after the hustle and bustle of the Medina. The staff were so friendly and helpful throughout our four night stay. We were given a Deluxe suite which was a very good size room. Breakfast was great next to the pool, all served , not a buffet.

Amazing place to stay. Beautiful Riad which provides a tranquil oasis in the centre of Marrakech. We had a Royal Suite which was huge and opulently furnished. Staff could not be more helpful and friendly. If you are looking for a luxury stay then this is the place.

Excellent Riad. The accomodation was first class with the highest attention to detail throughout. All of the staff were friendly and very attentive. The food was ample and delicious. A haven of tranquility and beauty.

It’s a gorgeous property in the inside. It’s an oasis from the chaotic bustling old town. Walking distance to souks for convenient shopping. The hotel staff is very helpful and especially enjoyed the assistance of Zoe the property manager. The roof top terrace is the entire size of the property. It is easy to find your own private corner. Would definitely recommend and return.

Demeures D’Orient is a hidden gem with the Riad courtyard layout providing perfect tranquility but only a few minutes walk from all the excitement of Marrakech and all the sights. The staff were incredible. All incredibly helpful and friendly. The Riad is family owned and managed and it was great to get to know the whole team there.

Fantastisk miljö i gästhuset (riad) och ligger fint mitt i gamla Medina. Riktig tusen och en natt upplevelse. Fantastisk personal som är vänlig och väldigt hjälpsam. Bra frukost. Fin restaurang med lokal meny. Perfekt för yngre människor. För äldre saknas hiss och hjälpmedel i dusch (handtag att hålla sig i och halkskydd).

An oasis of tranquility in a busy bustling, sometimes overwhelming Marrakesh. Beautiful property, sympathetically turned into a stunning Riad - a stones throw from the Souks. Feels like a film set from another era. Lovely & helpful owners & staff. Thoroughly recommend.

Nous avons passé un agréable weekend au Riad, et avons beaucoup apprécié le cadre et l'attention du personnel ainsi que les conseils. Seuls bémols, les chambres un peu froides en hiver (début février), mais ça sera un avantage plus tard dans l'année, et la coupole donnant sur la grande baignoire en marbre. Bien que cela fasse un joli puits de lumière, c'est aussi une fenêtre avec vue plongeante depuis la terrasse. Pas génial si on n'est pas exhibitioniste. Pourquoi ne pas remplacer les verres par du verre translucide (sablé, opal)? On a beaucoup aimé les friandises et le thé vert à la réception (les briouates .... miam!).
