It began with chatty and helpful David at checkin, who offered us an upgrade to an upper floor, larger suite with better airflow through the windows. He personally walked us over, and pointed out the cafe out the back gate right next door at the campground, and the bike rentals place beside it. And of course we could now see the sea too, 400m away.
Big suite with comfy sofa, kitchenette, kithcen table and balcony with table and chairs too. Good sized bedroom with huge, comfy bed. Bathroom with good if creaky shower, instant heat and plenty of water pressure.
Will definitely stay again if we ever return to Nelson.

They made me feel very welcome and at home from the very first minute. I love the fact that they are willing to go extra mile for everyone and make everyone feel special (as I've witnessed their attitude towards other guests too)
