We loved our stay at coal miners cabin! The atmosphere was very peaceful and we loved the historical aspect of the cabins. The staff was lovely and we enjoyed eating meals in the comfortable common area. We would love to return one day.

Just like being a coal miner. Rooms are old and rustic with plumbing visible and well worn furnishings. Breakfast is good. Location is well away from local attractions with very limited local transportation.

Dette er jo ikke noe hotell, og er 1/4 av prisen til noen av hotellene i sentrum. Rommet er rent og pent, og dusj og do i gangen fungerer helt fint. Man hører alle som går forbi, men jeg sover alltid med øreplugger på hostels av denne grunn. Frokosten er som forventet angående innhold. Men det var ingen som ryddet bord og ryddet i frokosten, så dette så noe rotete ut! Dette kunne de enkelt ha ordnet med at noen fulgte med under frokost. Med tanke på prisen er jeg fornøyd, og bor her gjerne igjen.

Room size exceeded our expectations. Spacious and clean/fresh. Breakfast was good. Internet worked flawlessly. Fun to stay in a building with the heritage from the coal mining days. Improvement opportunities would be: More hot water for more than 1 or 2 people to shower in the morning, lock on toilet room door would also be a nice feature. For the same type trip I would certainly consider same again. Stayed three fault friends for 4 nights.

We were pleasantly surprised. Spacious rooms, only waited for the bathroom once in the 4 nights we stayed. The staff were very nice and helpful. The common area/bar/restaurant area was very comfortable. Roughly a 2.5 km walk into town. We would definitely stay here again
