I don't know whether the hotel has upgraded my room or not. The room was at the end of the corridor which has a fantastic and wonderful 180 degree view (3 different directions) of andalsnes. The breakfast was very good and there is coffee maker in the room.
The hotel was located in a higher level of andalsnes. So you need to carry your luggage uphill if you arrive andalsnes by train or by bus in andalsnes station. Fortunately, I travelled from molde to andalsnes by bus. So that I can get off in one stop before the andalsnes station, the name of the stop is Realskolen(Rauma). The bus driver was so nice that he stopped in the intersection road exit of the hotel which was 60m away. (originally the stop is 120m away)

The dining room and cocktail lounge were very comfortable and lovely to sit in and read a book. Overall, it was a great experience, my only area of feedback is that it was just too cold in the common space! Wasn't sure why there wasn't a fire going or the heat wasn't turned up. But all in all it was an outstanding experience.

Grei kvalitet. Dobbeltseng må ha hel madrass. Fler knagger i rom og på bad. Koffertplass for lite, trengs to steder til koferter i dobbeltrom. Trimrom bør ha musikk og videomuligheter, samt kaldtvanndispenser tilgjengelig. Frokost manglet blant annet et større utvalg, særlig av frukt. Ble tomt for croissanter allerede klokka 0830, samme med eggehakk.

The hotel is located in the center of Åndalsnes within walking distance to the spectacular Romsdalseggen Mountain Trail. We found the room small, especially the bathroom and sink. It was not grand. It’s ok, free parking, ok restaurant, good breakfast.
