Hordatun Hotel gav oss en veldig positiv erfaring. For det første er rommene STORE, for det er faktisk små leiligheter, med eget tekjøkken - inkl. kjøleskap og kokemuligheter. En liten 1-roms leilighet, med stor og bekvem sofakrok.
Vi spiste ikke varm mat, men de hadde et kjekt utvalg i restauranten/bistroen sin.
Utsikten fra hotellet utover vannet og fjellene er helt super.
Det var litt støy fra trafikken utenfor på kvelden, men det ble helt stille og veldig lite trafikk om natta.
Alt i alt en super erfaring med et hotel som vi gjerne besøker igjen!

Check in was prompt & straightforward, & we were greeted in a friendly and helpful and efficient way. Our room was sparse but functional, although facing the road it was noisy especially with trucks rolling by during the night. Breakfast was nicely presented and tasty. The dinner menu was limited but also tasty. For what we paid I might have expected a little more comfort but otherwise we were happy.

About one hour to Odda and two hours to Folgefonni National Park for blue ice hiking.There are five to seven beds in each room. So it's suitable for a big family but a little bit expensive for one or two persons per room. Outside view is beautiful.

We loved this place! The check-in staff was welcoming and joyful, the decor charming and happy, room was 2 story and spacious with a balcony and INCREDIBLE views. Wow.
We had pizza for dinner on-site, and a nice breakfast included in the morning with cups of coffee to go for the road.
Only minor drawback was there was only handsoap available for washing in the shower. Still loved the stay and the charm of the place and staff overall.

Hôtel un peu vieillot , chambre correcte, c'est un studio avec cuisine. Il manque un micro-ondes. Le petit-déjeuner corect servi un peu tard pour ceux qui désirent partir de bonne heure. Parking gratuit.

Rummen var lite trånga, och standarden något gammaldags. Badrummet var minimalt och avloppet satt på andra sidan rummet bredvid toaletten, vilket innebar att allt vatten forsade över hela golvet innan det hittade ner i avloppet.

Stayed in a family room which was a spacious apartment. We had requested a room with a view and got a a top floor with amazing views over lake and the mountains. Kids enjoyed trampoline in the backyard. Staff is very hospitable and there were plenty of free parking.
