Got passed to another Guesthouse.

They asked for a payment higher than the bill. They don't have amenities.

no water!!!! hassle and very inconvenient for guests

It was a good place to stay and is affordable. The staff were good for providing our needs like an extension cord and a fan since we felt like it was too hot although there was an A/C. We were just restless lol. We paid for an extra bed since we both had booking mishaps but we handled it well.

Our itinerary has been delayed since they had no water supply since 2am. Until 11am we had to only use 2 pails of supply.

The receptionists when I checked in when i checked in were really helpful. The problem is, on the third day of my stay, there was someone else on the front desk. She kept chatting with someone. I didn't want to be rude so I didn't interject. I waited for while because I thought she was going to finish their conversation because she already noticed me and signaled me to wait. But it went on and on that I almost got late for my appointment.

When we arrived, the frontdesk (guy) does not know what he is doing. The phone rang & entertained the caller before us who is standing in front of him. And we did not have any sleep that time that's why we were so annoyed. Though the room has a nice AC. Cheap price so expect that the room is really just a bed & an AC. The girl receptionist is more hospitable. Hoped she was there when we 1st checked in. The guards downstairs are helpful too since we always go out especially around 1-3am. Overall, I still recommend the place as the location is near everything and as per price, you get what you are paying for.

I found 2 bedbugs, I brought the 2nd bedbug in the front desk and the person said sorry and continued to type in the computer like nothing happened. can you do anything about this?

The dorm type room doesn’t indicate that it is mixed with male and female guests. There is only one fan for 8 beds so it is very hot and prone for mosquito bites. There are also limited electrical outlets so you cannot charge your gadgets when it’s already occupied by other guests. No towels and tissues and staffs are not that friendly. I guess you get what you paid for.

Signage is not obvious. Room and bed are too small (because it is cheap?). No blanket. No bath towels. Nothing on their food counter. Water pressure is so weak. Bidets are not working. Toilet seats are either cracked or gone. This cheap place is really a cheap place. I will not come back to this place.

Aside from the staff being friendly, I can't say any positive things about this place. I booked a shared room expecting that I will be sharing it with the same gender but to my surprise, I have to share it with male guests. With my entire backpacking life this was the first I saw a hotel with only one shared room. That means you have to deal being in a room with male guest and it will be very awkward. I had no choice but to upgrade to a room for 2 which made me pay an extra 329 pesos. The room was very small and not comfortable. The water was too weak, you can't even use the bidet. Taxi drivers are not familiar with the location. We spent running around looking for the hotel. I ended up paying 150 of what used to be just around 70 if they know the place, but even when we ask the locals, they cannot tell us where it is exactly. If it's not for the friendly people and nice place, I wouldn't enjoy Cebu.

Was so expensive for what we got. No toilet paper in the bathroom even. The bed above me was dirty. No blankets or offer of them granted it's called but bed felt unclean.

The staffs are indeed friendly and accommodating. Friendly's Guesthouse rooms are clean and well ventilated. We feel great to be in a budget friendly Guesthouse with a good quality service. Thank you Friendly's Guesthouse.
