The room was awesome, directly above the sidewalk for people watching and directly on the ocean, could feel the waves crashing, just wonderful. The views are great, the salt water pool with wave crashing in, the blow hole and black sand beach 750meters to the east were fun. Nice safe little village, great inexpensive restaurants, loved the scabbard fish and Sangria.

Frühstück gut, Zimmer (Standard, 1 Stock) gut, Reinigung übermäßig freundlich und fleißig, Surfschule nicht günstig (aber normal in Madeira) bietet für das Geld wirklich viel. Familiärer Flair

Bien situé au bord de l’ ocean et a 15 mn de l’ aéroport. Patrons et personnels très sympa et à l’ écoute, qui comprennent le français . Très bonne cuisine, et aides efficaces pour toutes sortes de services. Mon séjour de 8 jours en Mars, et tout était parfait. Merci d’ André de CAILHAU.

Localisation intéressnte pour départs nombreuses randonnées. Village sympathique, quelques restaurants, un bar, une taverne, un musée et même une petite supérette.
L’hôtel nous a gentillement uprgadé pour la magnifique suite avec une terrasse gigantesque, vue mer et montagne. Un super séjour même si le temps n’était pas tous les jours au beau fixe.

Koselig og intimt hotell med god service fra personalet. Rommene og fellesareal rent og pent. Frokosten er enkel, men middag oh lunsj er til gjengjeld svært bra. Spektakulær natur og landskap. Vi kommer gjerne igjen.

Tolle Lage und tolle Aussicht, insbesondere vom Zimmer mit Terrasse und Balkon zur Bucht hin. Neues Badezimmer und bequeme Betten. Alles sehr sauber! Frühstück ist simpel aber gut. Personal ist hilfsbereit und hat gute Tips für die Umgebung. Gute Küche im Hotel und in der Gasse hinter dem Haus.
Da das Hotel direkt an der Bucht liegt hört man die Brandung auch bei geschlossenen Fenstern. Wer das nicht mag sollte Ohrstöpsel mitnehmen. Empfehlenswertes 2-Stern Hotel!

fantastic food , great access, good people.
We really enjoyed the welcome, Andrea is a Diamond, and the hospatility. people were so eager to introdce to the hidden parts of the Island and speciality foods, . Catered well for specific needs also. Going down to breakfast and dinners were a joy. We got a local , Sol who could speak English to show us some sights and that was truly great and so feel very blessed. Thank you ever so much- everyone here for the memorable stay.

Our first four nights of a three week stay on Madeira were at the Vila Bela, previously recommended to us by another couple. The room was comfortable, spacious and had a balcony overlooking the ocean. Breakfasts, taken al fresco, were of fresh rolls, cheeses, meats, fruit, etc. and the restaurant, also al fresco at this time of year, is highly recommended. The staff were friendly and we would certainly return for another stay. The village is a good centre for walks and has a swimming pool, several cafes, restaurants, a rum factory, mill museum and as we found on one of the saint's days, the locals know how to party.

Possibilité de se baigner sur une plage située à 200 m.
pour les amateurs de trails, de beaux dénivelés à faire avec parcours partant du village, circuits courts avec fort dénivelés, et longs jusqu'à 35 km.
à moins d'une heure de nombreuses randonnées cotières, montagneuses ou Levadas pour découvrir une végétation luxuriante.

Die Lage und die Umgebung des Hotels sind wirklich gut.
Man muss sich im Klaren sein, das die Brandungswellen wirklich sehr laut sind auch bei geschlossenen Fenstern.
Das einzig negative waren die extrem harten Matratzen.

Vila Bela ist ein schönes, einfaches u.kleines Hotel in einem ruhig gelegen kleinen Kuestenort. Das Meer zeigt sich in einer schönen Bucht direkt hinter dem Haus. Drumherum gibts mehrere preisgünstige Restaurants und außerdem ein wunderbares Meerwasserschwimmbecken. Dieser Ort, samt Hotel ist bestens für erholsame Urlaubstage auf Madeira geeignet.😁

Everything is perfect. Location (small village) and ocean (15 m from hotel) makes your vacations fabulous and safe. Restaurant in hotel (for a dinner) is cheap and wonderful. Wifi is good. Stuff is very friendly. Sand beach and pool with ocean water very close to hotel
