Really lovely place to stay with the most friendly and helpful hosts. Close to the train station and right in Porto

Excellent hotel and host Mariana was brilliant. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world and thus was one of the best. Only small (8 rooms) but lovely with brilliant breakfast and excellent location near cathedral. Ask for a rear bedroom for the best views from your balcony.

Beautiful rooms, extremely clean, very comfortable. Delicious breakfast served in the morning. Owner was very kind, helpful and accommodating. Great value. Convenient location. Would highly recommend.

Mariana was great coordinating a last minute request by me for taxi shuttle from airport and an earlier breakfast for my Camino start. Joana was there to greet me on arrival and provide the early breakfast. Na Travessa was the perfect choice for my stay.

Clean, friendly, well-located, great breakfast. The only unpleasant thing is the homeless drug users outside. Maybe ask for a room on the back side.

Close to Cathedral and to metro. Excellent breakfast. Clean, quiet and comfortable bed. Stayed one night wish it could have been longer. Excellent service!

The property is in a great location, very close to a lot of sights we wanted to see. The restaurants nearby were great and easy to walk to. The room also had a great view!

Reasons for our 5 star rating: The great view looking over the city roof tops from our balcony. The location just across from Bento train Station, very convenient. Shopping area and restaurants within walking distance. Pre arrival advice from our host Mariana with check in details and travel tips. Joanna going the extra mile to welcome us on our late arrival. Loved our stay. Mariana made us feel so welcome. Location is convenient to reach with public transit and about a 2 minute walk from the heart of the tourist area. The included breakfast was delicious and plentiful too.

Na Travessa is in a perfect location and easy walking distance to most attractions. The rooms are compact but very comfortable and in impeccable condition. Mariana and Joana were extremely helpful and informative. The breakfasts were delicious.

This place is truly a gem. Mariana is amazing and possibly the nicest person i have ever met. She reached out ahead of our stay and arranged a pickup for us at the airport. This made whole process seamless. Her hotel is in a perfect location within walking distance to pretty much anywhere you would want to go in Porto (keep in mind Porto has a lot of hills so you will get good cardio workout in). Mariana also served us an amazing breakfast. She was also a wealth of knowledge about the area and offered many recommendations both for site seeing as well as great places to eat. I highly recommend this place and will stay here for sure if I am back in porto.

Wonderful stay at Na Travessa! Mariana, Joana and the rest of the staff were very lovely and helpful on providing tips and assistance. The area is very central so it is easy to move around the city and there is much to see. The room was very clean and well equipped. The hotel has been renovated very nicely and provides a serene environment for breakfast or enjoying some wine. Would stay here again and recommend it!

Mariana is running the hotel. She is a amazing host. She herself prepares breakfast which brings us to home. This small hotel is extremely clean, incredible view of Porto, and a small garden of Lemon tree. In the first floor, we were able to read and work in a big table. Mariana and her husband bought an old house and turn it into a lovely hotel. We felt like at home. Thank you Mariana, we already miss you.

From the outset our communication with the property owner was excellent. Mariana went above and beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly and to cater for my husband’s dietary requirements. The property is absolutely delightful and is in an excellent location for all the sights that Porto has on offer. The attention to detail is exemplary and the care and attention given to the daily breakfasts was fantastic.

Great location! Central for exploring Porto with a short walk to the Palace and bridge over the river. Lovely breakfast and great communication from Marianna. Would definitely recommend.
