Socalco Nature Calheta

Nous avons été agréablement surpris par le style atypique de cet établissement. Tout a été conçu pour se fondre dans le décor naturel, du potager au jardin d'herbes aromatiques en passant par le vignoble. Le petit-déjeuner ou le dîner se prennent devant un panorama époustouflant. Tout le personnel a été accueillant. Une expérience inoubliable !

Amazing! Loved the location, view and room. Breakfast and service amazing. Dinner was good too. Went for cocktails one night, maybe near closing and wasn’t the same level as previous experienced but mostly amazing.

We had the most incredible stay. The views were fantastic from the hotel/room. The breakfast included was amazing, you need to have dinner at the restaurant. The staff at this hotel were incredible and made the stay even more special. We look forward to staying here again when we next visit Madeira.

Cet endroit est un petit paradis !!! Isolé au sommet de la ville de Calheta avec la vue sur la plage. L’idée du repas surprise à tous les soirs est particulier mais intéressant et intriguant !!! Très bonne cuisine !!! Tout est parfait !!!

Parking in front hotel is always limited in the evening. Got the room with great seaview and signal tower seen from window. Breakfast was good but don’t expect something big.

Die Unterkunft und das Gelände sind super schön! Man kann an vielen Ecken neue Dinge entdecken. Zwischen den Weinreben befinden sich kleine angelegte Gärten und überall fließt Wasser. Das Personal ist super nett und immer hilfsbereit. Die Parkplätze sind, Madeira typisch, eng, aber wir konnten immer einen finden. Das Frühstück und Abendessen war sehr lecker und es blieben keine Wünsche offen. Das Apartment ist stilvoll, minimalistisch eingerichtet mit einer wunderschönen Regenwalddusche und einer (ziemlich) kleinen Kochecke. In den Apartment waren ein paar Haken und weitere Verstaumöglichkeiten schön gewesen. Auch der Tisch zum Essen war sehr knapp bemessen. Beim Kochkit haben wir ein Schneidebrett und ein Tuch zum Abtrocknen vermisst.

We stayed in the cascades room. Absolutely beautiful . Breakfast on terrace with gorgeous fresh and delicious food. Everything here here is quality- food, service, craftsman furnishings and fittings, fabulous tended grounds. Loved our little Levada walk around the room to the river source. Everything so secluded. Views are incredible.

Beautiful location with excellent staff and food.

Eine traumhafte Unterkunft in einer Traumhaften Umgebung. Service und Personal waren exzellent und alle waren super freundlich. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen und war sehr lecker. Das einzige was spannend ist, ist die steile Anfahrt zur Unterkunft, vor allem bei Gegenverkehr. Aber alles machbar. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We had an incredible stay at Socalco! We stayed in the cave room and it was a beautiful and unique experience. The room was comfortable and the property grounds are gorgeous. We had an incredibly relaxing stay- a perfect retreat after hiking around the island. The staff gave excellent recommendations for places to explore. I highly recommend getting dinner at their restaurant. We ended up eating there both nights of our stay because we had such an incredible experience the first night. Everything is made fresh and includes food from their garden. Their is no menu, the chef changes what he makes daily.

It's a beautiful place and the people are lovely. For me a highlight was the breakfast. You get it every day to the table - sometimes new things but also the classical things in a very high quality. The rooms are bright and modern.

Our stay at Socalco Nature was truly unforgettable. The hotel is ideally located above the town to relax and enjoy the beautiful views. The rooms are welcoming, with lovely big windows to sit in and look out onto the vineyards. The staff are incredibly welcoming and go above and beyond to ensure you have the perfect stay. We didn't want to leave, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for relaxation, delicious food, and beautiful views.

Fantastisk fint værelse med den flotteste udsigt fra terrassen. Fint lille køkken på værelset, som vi brugte den første dag. Der var dog ikke et viskestykke til at tørre servicen af med. Vi efterlod det i vasken. Da der var rengøring på værelset, blev alt servicen sat vådt ved siden af vasken. Vi vidste da ikke, om det var rent eller bare skyllet af. Derfor kun tre stjerner for rengøring. Lækker morgenmad. Dog opdagede vi tilfældigt, at vi kunne få cappuccino og espresso - der blev serveret filter kaffe, når de spurgte, om vi ville have kaffe. De fortalte ikke, at vi kunne vælge andet.

Wir haben 9 Nächte in diesem wunderschönen Hotel verbracht und können es nur empfehlen! Positiv: Der Ausblick und die Zimmer sind wunderschön, ruhig und gut ausgestattet. Die Anlage ist naturnah und schön bepflanzt. Das Frühstück ist lecker, und das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auf Nachfrage haben wir ein Kochset für die Küche erhalten, und für eine geplante Wanderung bekamen wir hilfreiche Tipps. Die Betten sind bequem, und in den Zimmern kann man den Ausblick genießen, ohne befürchten zu müssen, dass jemand hereinschaut. Zum Valentinstag gab es kostenlose Schokolade aus Funchal, und täglich wurde frischer Tee und Kaffee bereitgestellt. Verbesserungswürdig: Das Zimmer könnte mehr praktische Features wie Haken oder Handtuchhalter vertragen. Lüfter und Spülung im Badezimmer sind laut, und ein Handtuch zum Geschirr trocknen wäre praktisch. Trotz Angabe der Vorlieben bei der Ankunft gab es täglich Wurst und Bacon zum Frühstück, und pflanzliche Milch mussten wir nachfragen. Für vegane Gäste wäre eine vorherige Absprache mit dem Team ratsam. Wissenswertes: Die Zufahrt zum Hotelparkplatz ist steil und eng, was für ängstliche Fahrer eine Herausforderung darstellen könnte. Eine kostenlose Parkmöglichkeit gibt es unten, aber dann muss man bergauf gehen. Die Hotelanlage hat viele Stufen und Berge, was für Madeira typisch ist – definitiv nicht barrierefrei. Für uns war es ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt, und es fiel uns schwer zu gehen.
