Good to be back, near public transportation

This is a review of the Standard Room with Smart TV. JH Hotel is a small hotel located in the Geylang area. Upon arrival at the hotel, I went to the reception area for check in. The check in was fast as I booked through an app. ROOM: The room was pretty decent for the price, it's spacious with enough room to place your belongings. Aside from some minor permanent marks on the walls and fridge, it was quite a clean room. 👍 The room design isn't much, it's ordinary but good enough for people who just needs a room to stay. The air con was good, it can get pretty cold. There are 7 charging ports around the room for those who need them 👍 SERVICES: The wifi works well, it's quite fast. There are no local channels available on the TV but there were other basic channels that are as good. (Not Netflix, HULU etc) COMFORT: The bed felt comfortable and I had a good night sleep here. The blankets aren't tucked into the bed so you can actually cover yourself nicely. The shower was good, the water can get hot quite fast but the temperature isn't as hot as you want it to be. There was no noise pollution when I stayed so it was quite peaceful and quiet. 👍 AMENITIES: There is a mini fridge in the room and it works well. There are no safes to lock your items up. Basic amenities like coffee, water, toothbrush etc are provided. One of the other amenity I noticed was a charger provided near the telephone with multiple ports for different phones to charge your phone which is very helpful and thoughtful. 👍 OTHER: In terms of accessibility, it's about a 10-15 mins walk from the nearest MRT and there are many bus stops around. There are also lots of food stalls and convenience stores around the area. 👍 OVERALL: I would say it's a pretty decent hotel with good value. For the price, you can get a nice budget room. Thank you for the accommodation, I enjoyed my stay here. 🙏

JH Hotel is a budget hotel at Geylang area. For the money paid, it was quite worthed with the room and facilities that guests may enjoy. Even though, do not put too much expectation. The room size was adequate. There were still spaces to walk and put luggages. The bed was comfy. Bed size was standard. In room free WiFi was provided. There were TV set, instant coffee and water heater, cup mineral water, handphone charging ports, hair dryer, shower gel, toothpaste and toothbrush, shower cap, hot and cold water shower, air conditioning, and small refrigerator. Bed linen and towel were clean. If you stay more than one night, you need to inform the reception for room cleaning. The cons from the room was the smoke smell on my room. Maybe the previous guests did smoke in the room even though it was not allowed. But, fortunately, the window could be opened so I managed to have better air circulation. Floor sweeping and mopping had to be improved as it was not so clean. Our bathroom door was broken but it was not repaired. The hospitality from the crew members was just so so. Please do not expect warm hospitality like big hotels. They just did their task to register guests for check in and check out. The hotel came with carpark for cars and motorbikes. This hotel is located at the prime part of Geylang Road where eateries, supermarket, shops are just withing walking distance. Next to the hotel, there was a mini market if guests are looking for daily needs or drinks. Just at the corner, there are Chinese and Indian coffee shops. Mobile shop is just at the corner where you can get local sim card. The nearest MRT stations are Kallang and Aljunied of East West Line. It is still within 10-15 minutes walk. I do not recommend guests to walk to the nearest MRT station. Instead, there are a lot of buses that made stop at the nearest bus stop: Opp Mohd Saleh Mosque, which was just 2 minutes walk from the hotel at the main Geylang Road. From this bus stop, you may go to a lot of places in Singapore, including Bugis, Orchard, or even to the nearest MRT station. As Geylang Road is an one-way road, if you want to reach this hotel from MRT station, you may take MRT ride to Aljunied MRT station and continue your journey with bus no. 62, 63, 80, 100, 158 or bus no. 21 and 51 Eunos MRT station. Afterward, just stop at Opp Mohd Saleh Mosque. This bus stop is just 2 stops away from Aljunied MRT station.

Check in 2pm, but room ready in 4pm. Very dirty. Too expensive with this quality 👎🏻.

Hotel yang tepat untuk melakukan kegiatan di Singapura karena terletak tidak jauh dari pusat kegiatan dan bandara.

As requested for higher floor but unfortunately no room available? But its OK to me. I'm staying with room flooring wet all over place @ first day? I guess that e aircon room leaking? I guess that e maintenance is not properly done?

building next to the hotel under renovation so it's kinda noisy, the pillow got few strand of hairs

This hotel is more way better than other 3 star hotel however during my stay, I heard some noise from renovation upstairs. Also, It would be good if they provide soap and shampoo in dispenser. Overall I will still choose JH hotel for a short staycation.

Hotel dekat dengan bus, dan bisa menitip koper.

Kamar hotel sesuai dengan harga yang diberikan, kamar tidur kurang bersih, di tempat tidur terdapat banyak noda, di tembok kamar terdapat jamur, Kamar mandi sangat kecil, bagi yang ingin ke singapura dengan budget terbatas dapat menginap di hotel ini. Ke halte bus sangat dekat dari lokasi hotel ini. Di sekitar lokasi hotel banyak terdapat tempat makan dan mini market.

โรงแรมดี สะอาด เดินทางสะดวก ถ้าใครมาพักค้างคืน แนะนำให้พกน้ำหอมปรับอากาศแบบซองมาด้วย โรงแรมมีกลิ่นบุหรี่ ที่เหลือดีหมด

Nhân viên thân thiện, phòng ốc cũng sạch sẽ, sáng sủa, đầy đủ TV, máy lạnh, nước nóng. Xung quanh có nhiều quán ăn và tạp hoá, đi lại thuận tiện. Tuy nhiên thang máy để đi lên đi xuống hay chở theo đồ (khăn lông, trải giường đã xài rồi), làm thang máy có mùi hơi khó chịu. Dép sử dụng trong phòng phải mua. Nói chung là so với giá thì ở đây cũng ổn. Có thể quay lại lần 2.

No hanging place for towel Next to my room too Noisy, its mean the wall non-sound proof at all. Tv channel are poor.

For a cheap hotel in Singapore it is good value new air-conditioning bed is is okay WiFi great and it is red light district but is not a worry.
