这个酒店在烈士谷园区内，进入需要备案登记，前台的服务水平有待提升，水质不太好，但是周边环境异常安静，晚上星空璀璨。当然，如果对墓地有避讳的就算了，毕竟正对面就是弗朗哥大元帅陵寝...

The staff is very nice but the environment is too quiet.

Para um local extraordinário, necessitava de umas instalações melhores cuidadas e de funcionários mais competentes. Reservei um quarto com 3 camas e pequeno-almoço. E entregram-me um quarto com 2 camas. Após reclamação, a solução foi oferecerem mais um quarto de 2 camas, no extremo oposto do edificio. O pequeno almoço, apesar de ser muito tarde e de apenas 1 hora para todos os hospedes (nem todos tiveram lugar dentro das salas), o meu quarto não constava na lista de pequeno-almoço. Mais uma vez, tive de reclamar para ter direito ao pequeno-almoço. Numa das camas do quarto o lençol estava roto. Muito falta de profissionalismo dos funcionários.

Amazing location with truly unique atmosphere. The history of the place is deeply complicated but it’s setting in combination with the structures make it extremely impressionable.

No aircon, small shower, very simple breakfast. Silent and safe.

This is a unique building in unique surroundings and cannot be compared with other hotels. From the massive gateway up the winding concrete road, through forest and over viaducts to a Benedictine monastery (with just eight monks left on the site)-not to mention the Basilica and funicular. It appears that the property is state owned and as landlord they appear unwilling to make the investments needed to maintain and update the property. THAT SAID - the experience was exceptional. Reception, restaurant and housekeeping personnel are all professional, friendly and speak English from excellent to limited. Our room overlooked the cross on the rock mound and across the pond. There were two comfortable single beds with spotless white bedclothes. The heating in the room failed. It dates from the 1960's. An electric heater was promptly provided and did the job. There is no TV or telephone - but so what! The bathroom has a shower, basin and lavatory. A Shower and hand, clean white quality towels are beautifully presented. The walls and window shutters need a little maintenance but this did not cause any problem. Stunning passages, and chapel. Restaurant is good both for dinner and breakfast. The opening hours do cause a tsunami of hungry folk but you don't have to join the scrum. There is a lift. I recommend this establishment to most travellers (Madrid Airport just an hour away). If you are looking for a modern hotel will all mod. cons. stay away.

Este lugar es espectacular, muy impresionante el ambiente

Nadie del servicio se queda a dormir, si surge cualquier contratiempo, estáis solos. Nosotros estuvimos durante la última nevada y por la mañana no había nadie, no supimos a quien acudir aunque llamamos a la casa de enfrente a la hospedería. Tampoco nos llamaron por teléfon. Yo me dedico a hospedar a personas y sé que las cosas se deben hacer de otra manera. Se trata de una crítica constructiva para que se mejoren los servicios. El sitio espectacular

모두 친절했고 예전에 수도원이었던 시설이 인상적이었습니다 단, 출입로에 들어가려고 할 때 조금 어려움이있었습니다

Para acceder a la abadía hay que pasar un control de la guardia civil, no tuve ningún problema con el acceso. La abadía está ubicada en un entorno montañoso en la Sierra de Guaderrama. Desde la ventana de mi habitación se veía la Cruz más grande del mundo a unos 200 metros. El personal muy amable. Volveré

Todo perfecto. Las instalaciones son suficientes, sobre todo en lo que respecta a las habitaciones, la ubicación es ideal en plena montaña y naturaleza, el restaurante variado y con platos de calidad, y todo el personal de la hospedería es amable, atento, simpático y profesional. Pienso repetir sin duda.

Se trataba de una habitación monacal, por lo tanto es un hospedaje sin lujos (no había gel ni champú) pero en un lugar espectacular y en un entorno natural precioso. Al margen de lo político o religioso, se trata de un lugar impresionante que merece la pena ser visitado. Quedarse a dormir en el monasterio ha sido una experiencia que, sin duda, repetiremos.

Les conditions d'hébergement étaient moyennes, un peu spartiates mais les locaux étaient bien tenus. Cependant notre expérience au restaurant a été très mauvaise à cause de l'attitude inadmissible d'une serveuse qui nous a plantés là. Elle trouvait que notre choix n'était pas assez rapide alors que les plats commandés n'étaient plus disponibles. Je précise que nous sommes restés courtois. Nous avons dû attendre un bon moment avant qu'une autre se présente. Personnel débordé !

Amazing place to recharge batteries

The best place to stay. I love the place and I will definitely go back.

It was a nice surprise. The hotel was good enough for one night.clean and peaceful. It would be nice to have more info on the nearby area and on the history of the place. Having to go through the restaurant with the suitcase is not a good idea and there is enough space to separate the two.

I stayed there and there was a demonic loud and long scream when no one was around it was about 1am and I left immediately after there is definitely paranormal activity happening there

What an amazing location, finding it via sat -nav not good, instructions should read, enter via entrance to the Valley of the Fallen. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is an old monastery with wonderful character. Breakfast was good with a good choice, being remote, eating out in the evening not easy, so ate at the hotel, a limited fixed menu, quality was OK, but not excellent. I would definitely stay there again if in the area. I pre booked tickets for the Basilica, staying at the hotel gave free access, only 4 Euros so not a bank breaker. Very peaceful.
