Lovely rural authentic hotel in Alpujarra. Good base for exploring. Excellent service - thank you Victor. Nice breakfast to start your day. Coffee, tea, bar and snacks available. No dinner available but bar/restaurant across the street and two small restaurants a short walk away. Quiet and peaceful location. Parking just outside hotel.

El Hotel es magnífico. Está en un paraje precioso todo lleno de senderos y con una tranquilidad sin igual. La limpieza se veía por todos lados, lo que daba mucha tranquilidad teniendo en cuenta la situación actual. La decoración de las habitaciones era también digna de mención, con un toque tradicional y a la vez moderno. Y por último el servicio de Víctor siempre pendiente de todo y muy agradable en todo momento.

Muy céntrico en la alpujarra. Ideal para recorrer otros pueblos y volver a dormir.
Desayuno bufet muy bueno. Por reseñar algo, pocas opciones para intolerantes y alergicos.
Hay aparcamiento justo al lado del hotel (casi inexistente en otros sitios de la alpujarra). Incluso para un coche con remolque.

Un lugar tranquilo, sin ruidos y sin prisas. Debo destacar la buena atención del personal, desde la recepción hasta las personas que limpian los distintos espacios. Los distintos servicios que ofrece, sencillos y suficientes, cubren las necesidades básicas de cualquiera. Su conocimiento de la zona nos ha ayudado en nuestros desplazamientos por la zona. El hotel es muy acogedor y el personal muy amable y atento. Quizás mejoraría el servicio de desayuno, un poco caro para lo que ofrecía. De todos modos si vuelvo a la zona no dudaré en alojarme de nuevo allí

Estuvimos solo un par de noches pero el hotel (salvando gustos estéticos) esta muy bien cuidado, dispone de piscina, restaurante y de unos desayunos muy completos. La ubicación es perfecta para quien quiera conocer la zona a la vez que descansar en un lugar tranquilo y sus propietarios son la mar de atentos.

This was our 3rd stop-over stay in the family-run hotel, as we walked through Las Alpujarras & Sierra Nevada mountains. Large rooms, beautiful gardens and lovely pool. More expensive than some places & wi-fi is limited to the bar area. Pizza bar down the road is always fab & friendly and a new bar/restaurant opposite, which we didn't get to.

Lejos de ser un hotel típico de la Alpujarra, se convirtió en un hogar gracias a Víctor y su mujer, siempre atentos a nosotros, preocupándose por nuestras comidas, nuestro itinerario y nuestra comodidad. Realmente adorable el entorno, el trato y la atención. No está en el trasiego de pampaneira y capileira, ya que es lo más conocido, aquí es relax absoluto, y eso que fuimos con niño

Prachtige accommodatie. Aardig personeel. Je voelt je er zeker welkom. Knus zwembad omringd met groen en de bergen. Alleen de reis er naar toe door de bergen was afzien. Wij hebben deze s avonds gedaan. Zo kwam t uit. Overdags deze route nemen is van harte aan te bevelen. En als je er bent dan minimaal 2 nachten. Wij hebben er 1 nacht gezeten en dan zie je niets van de mooie omgeving.

Very comfortable spacious room. Friendly helpful staff. Good night's sleep. We stayed for a week walking in the Alpujarras and Mecina is very centrally located. The hotel does not do evening meals but we easily ate at one of three bars/restaurants in the Village. The hotel allowed us to make up picnics from the breakfast buffet for an additional charge which was very useful.

Situated in a quiet mountain village, the hotel is a great jumping off place for quiet hikes through woods, meadows with wildflowers, and steep paths to the river and to other villages. Victor the proprietor is knows everyone and gives great advice re hikes to take, places to eat and to visit. Low key. Relaxing.
