The hotel was very accessible from Las Ramblas and La Boqueria. However, there was just too much construction going on in Las Ramblas. The taxi had a difficult time getting to the hotel.

Friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was a disappointment. Great selection but several items covered with fruit flies. It wasn’t worth the €50, for that reason.

La habitación es muy pequeña para 3 personas que éramos. La primera noche el sofá cama, muy incómodo, hacía mucho ruido y lastimaba, pedimos otra habitación pero como el hotel está en remodelación, solo tenían el 50 % de capacidad y nos dieron la opción de arreglar el sofá, quedó bien, pero el baño se veía sucio todos los días. Los botes de crema y shampoo estaban vacíos, tuvimos que pedir. Las toallas bastante viejas y rotas. Es buena opción por la ubicación y precio, pero si les hace falta remodelar todo! El personal muy amable y nos ayudaron con muchas cosas!

Magnifique endroit, proche de tout, et pratique d'accès, chambre très propre, élégante, café à volonté dans la chambre, pratique le matin. Mais accueil poli, sans plus, et oubli de nous mentionner la terrasse au 5e et que l'on avait droit à un verre de champagne gratuit, ce qui aurait été très agréable le soir de notre arrivée... Autre souci, le bruit : chambre mal isolée et résonnance du cloître intérieur en plus de travaux de rénovation. Dans l'ensemble, séjour agréable malgré ces désagréments.

Unacceptable and unsettling for a four star hotel: We requested accommodations in advance, but none were available. The AC wasn’t working, and the only room offered wouldn’t be ready until the next day around 1 p.m. On our final day, we also found a cockroach in the room, which was unacceptable. Overall, the cleanliness and maintenance did not reflect a four-star standard - and no compensation was granted either.

Room was super hot and uncomfortable.There is major construction going on in hotel which we did not find out about until night before arrival. There was bleach splatter on the walls which looked like they tried to clean up something big, and water damage on the wood casing along the floor. The floor was super creaky like there had been water damage . The breakfast and rooftop were great. Great option to keep your bags secured when we arrived early but couldn’t check in yet. Overall just ok. Overpriced for the room. Breakfast was 25e per person.
