We did not know that the least expensive hotel in our trip to Spain would be our favorite. Our room was a suite, and the entire hotel has been updated to modern standards. Each staff member we met was so kind and helpful. The location is also fantastic. I could not recommend the Hernan Cortes Hotel more highly.

This hotel is the best in Gijón. Although an old property it is very well maintained with spacious rooms and bathrooms. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The rooms have AC which is a plus in Europe and difficult to find operationally. We often go to Gijón and after many failed attempts, we found this centric beautiful place! Great job.

Très bon accueil professionnel en français. Hotel très bien situé au centre-ville. Hôtel d’un charme suranné mais très bien tenu. Propre et tranquille. Stationnement payant à proximité. Petit déjeuner tout près sur la rue « El jardin de Gloria » offrant un excellent café.

Safe, clean, convenient central location. I requested a quiet room which they gave me, and it was a nice peaceful night's sleep. You can hear guests through the door and heavy door slams but luckily none of that happened at night. Really nice helpful staff. I'll stay here again.

Hôtel au charme ancien, chambre propre et confortable. Le gel douche et lait hydratant sentent très très bon ! Accueil en espagnol uniquement (l'anglais a semblé faire peur !). Très bon buffet du petit déjeuner, varié et avec produits de qualité. Situé en plein centre, un parking public est juste à côté (21€ la nuit, pas de réduction), peu d'autres stationnements à proximité pour se garer dans la rue. On n'a passé qu'une nuit mais c'était très bien.
