Jardines del Sol

Fantastic Stay at Jardines del Sol! We had a great time at Jardines del Sol. The villa was spotless, spacious, and located in a peaceful area — perfect for a relaxing break. The pool area was very well maintained, and the on-site pool bar and restaurant served excellent food with friendly staff. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the nearest beach and supermarket, which was easy and pleasant. If you enjoy walking, there’s a lovely coastal path that takes you to a larger beach and more shops in around 25–30 minutes. Overall, a wonderful place to stay — highly recommended if you’re looking for comfort and a quieter location, and don’t mind a bit of walking.

It was like spending 6 days on a building site with no swimming pool as it was getting dug up and still hat to pay full price

The resort and staff were fantastic. However it had not been made clear at time of booking with hotels.com that the pool area was being refurbished. We would have booked alternative accommodation.

Property was nice. Wish they would have included shuttle buses to beach and free towels like other properties

The staff at the hotel are great. They were extremely helpful. The only issue we had was ants in the sugar packets, but they were quick to offer a solution. We found it odd that you had to pay 2 euros to rent a pool towel.

I thought the bungalow was very nice, clean and well layed out.

Fabulous accommodation with lovely pool area. The apartments were really well equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine. There was also a filtered water tap which was really useful. There was no shop on site but you could order bread and pastries to be delivered each day. We hired a car which was really useful as it is about a 30 minute walk to the harbour area. I would definitely stay here again. 10/10

L'hotel a bien convenu à nos besoins avec un logement globalement bien équipé notamment la cuisine. Ceci dit un des lits doubles que nous devions avoir s'est avéré être un canapé-lit. La résidence est calme et bien entretenue, la piscine est un plus réel - mais la décoration n'est pas des plus récentes; certains équipements sont même un peu vieux comme les TV qui ne sont pas connectées (pas d'accès possibles aux services de streaming). Enfin, il faut avoir en tête que la résidence est un peu excentrée et qu'il faut près de 1h30 pour rejoindre les points les plus au nord de l'ile.

Amazing as always!

My experience was a mixed bag. Pros: The staff is very friendly. The bedrooms and the bathrooms are nice. The compound feels safe, and there is plenty of free parking. The outdoor spaces are pleasant and well equipped with robust furniture. Cons: The living room is very dark, and the furniture looks and feels like it's straight out of goodwill, with scratches and stains everywhere. The kitchen looks like it was last updated in the 1980s and smells of mould. The plumbing is clunky. It takes forever for warm water to arrive in the primary bathroom, and it's virtually impossible to adjust the temperature. The pool closes at 5 pm, which I find is too early. Overall, I would only recommend this residence if you plan to spend most of your stay outside the compound, sightseeing, hiking, cycling, or surfing. If you are looking for a place where you hope to spend most of your day, I would look at other options.

Third time we've stayed here, the resort is exceptionally clean everywhere. Staff always helpful and friendly. Had an issue with the drainage and the shower flooding the bathroom, one phone call had maintenance, fresh towels and housekeeping in within 10 minutes to sort. On site restaurant and bar not as good as previous stays as it has become well used by ex pats and local residents which unfortunately means service not up to par if you can actually get a table on event nights.

Really enjoyed our stay. The apartments are clean and comfortable and well equipped. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the food at the on site restaurant.
