La Posada de El Chaflán

The staff is friendly and the location is not too far away from the train station. Our room was only okay for sleeping. The arrangement of the shower room and toilet was a bit awkward and there is no ventilation for the shower room and toilet. The basin is quite small.

I like their breakfast. Unlike the regular continental one, we are served toast, orange juice and coffee by waiter. We can also have choice of different kinds of coffee.

An absolutely basic, no frills, very small room, clean but cramped.

This was a very small room, but clean and a good place to sleep. Not luxurious but clean. It was located among many embassies. The location seemed very safe and there was a large grocery store nearby. It was about a half hour walk to the train station. Good place for a good price.

Needed a reasonable place to stay in Madrid and this worked. The location is good and convenient to metro stops. Room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful

The room and bathroom is in order, very clean, it has all I need. The bed was comfortable and slept very good. It was quiet. It has a terrace where I had dinner. The people also were very friendly. In the 24hour reception, gave me all the information to move around.

Only stayed 1 night prior to flying from airport. Was good value. Only negatives were lack of tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge.

Das Hotel ist einfach und liegt an der Metrostation Pio XII. Das Bett ist gut, jedoch habe ich andere Erwartungen gehabt und der Preis von ca. 100 € für ein Einzelzimmer passt bei dem Standard des Hotels überhaupt nicht zusammen. Ich würde das Hotel auf alle Fälle nicht wieder buchen. Es ist das Geld einfach nicht wert.

I only stayed here for about 5 hours as my flight arrived late and I was up early to get a train the next day. I didn't stay long enough to get an overall feel for the place. The bed was comfy enough but the room was small with not much room to move around. The door didn't close fully on the bathroom which wasn't great. It was ok for a 1 night stay but I wouldn't stay here a weekend away.

El único inconveniente ha sido que el inodoro no está encerrado...comparte mismo aire de la habitación.

Staff was very rude and starting swearing at us because we left our bags in the baggage storage for more than 2 hours. While leaving our stuff we had asked for them to hold our bags for the whole day and then said they hold for 24hs complimentary and charge 10 euros per day after that.

Very friendly and helpful staff.

This find was a pleasant surprise. I felts safe and it was great for one persone traveling alone. This is not a luxury hotel and I knew that coming in. I would definitely recommend and will stay here again.

Clean, comfortable room, excellent for 1 person. The washroom is a bit see-through, so might not be that comfortable for friends who share a room. The hotel is close to two subway lines, and has a nice restaurant downstairs with a very decent “menu del día”, which is a lunch with a few set options. Highly recommend this place, I am here for the second time.

Would not recommend, doors to other rooms and it feels like next door is in your room. Had to put a chair as i didnt feel safe..You can hear and see outside (no blackout curtians or double glazing so you also feel like your on the road!)
