Onix Fira

Fint lille hotel tæt på Plaça España. Nemt til lufthavnen, metro og sightseeing busser. Vi havde en altan med udsigt til Parc Miro. Klart anbefales.

Overall had a great stay at the Onix Fira. The room was pretty well sized, but a little lacking on storage. The pool was small but a perfect retreat for us and our 4 year old and rarely crowded. The front desk staff were so pleasant and helpful. The orange lighting in the hallways was a little weird but you get used to it. The breakfast was decent, but you could easily save the 14 Euros and hit a pastisseria nearby. Location is great for convenience to the airport, but a little further out for some of the sights. But this was fine since we'd been to Barcelona several times and the metros are lovely. I would be giving this hotel 5 stars, but we had issues with the hotel management concerning our stay. We decided to stay an extra day in Sitges and hoped to push back our reservation by one day, but they refused. They initially blamed it on Hotels.com saying they couldn't alter the reservation, but this was not actually true. After severa days of back and forth between us and hotels.com (who were extremely helpful) the Onix Fira decided they would not refund us the day we weren't there for. Honestly, this also would have been fine were it not for the run around, miscommunication, and outright mistruths from the management staff regarding our changes. Along with the fact that when we did arrive a day later. expecting our room to be ready since we had paid for check-in the day before, a maid was in our room providing a last minute clean and we still found the room to be dirty.

Fint standard hotel, der ligger fint lidt væk fra de mest turistede områder. Tæt på metro. Poolen var ikke noget særligt - lille og overfyldt.

Great staff and good and clean and good size rooms, the only concern was the noise inside the bedroom, we could listen people on the corridors and furniture been dragged, but overall was a great stay.

Walk disctance to Metro, and buses to reach out sightseen spots. Easy access from airport, and train station too.

The property is nice and clean. Staff is friendly. Breakfast was ok. Value for money - not in my case but I guess I booked it when the demand was high, over a thousand pound for four nights. You can get it cheaper if book early. No tea or coffee facilities in the room. That’s a big thing for me. Some of the guests in adjacent room noisy and inconsiderate! Overall it’s a good option if you can get it for less.

Allowed to check in before arriving and this sped up the process. Excellent service throughout the stay

I have stayed many times at this hotel before the refurbishment. The rooms now are not very practical. The lighting is poor, no light in the bathroom shower or at the sink, just one bulb in the ceiling. A huge circular very bright light in the bedroom shines direclty at you if you sit on the bed! Some clealiness issues with what looked like pieces of biscuit on the floor in several places. The new.design of the room is made to look "boutique" with the open hangers and no wardrobe or drawers! I won't be going back.

Hotel was nice.. Newly renovated.friendly staff.. Paula was really a superstar.. Smooth check in. Provided the needs of our stay.. Great location.

Booked this for Champions Rd of 16 with Benfica in mid March. Hotel is very clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast option was worth the price. If traveling in by air, the train to the Placa Espanya was very easy. The mall is nice with many food options, although a little touristy. Great stay, thanks so much to the staff!!!

Very unprofessional staff at the front desk during the day. They were more concerned about gossiping and talking with each other instead of servicing customers. The room was good, recently renovated but the soundproofing was nonexistent. I could hear every time someone moved in another room, and the rustling that came early in the morning woke me up every morning. Overall, the whole hotel operation was a huge mess. The only positive thing was the young guy working during the night shift who was very professional and helpful.
