I noticed multiple reviews mentioning notices posted at the entrance concerning the legality of this accommodation. After my stay, I can understand why guests were concerned. * I asked about luggage storage in advance. They said they would contact me on the day, but they never did. When I arrived, they said I had to wait 2.5 hours. Other guests also said they had been waiting for an hour. Fortunately, another staff member happened to pass by and took my luggage. * The bath towel in my room was wet. I contacted them at 21:00, but they only responded at 9:30 the next morning with questions rather than an apology. * They took my food (including cheese) out of the fridge and left it at room temperature for 9 hours overnight. The cheese spoiled and had to be thrown away. There was no rule explained at check-in. The fridge was almost empty, so there was no obvious reason to remove my food. * When I asked the cleaner about the food, she replied very rudely: "You can ask to the girl who helped you with check in. Why didn’t she explained you that? But in case, you could figured it out yourself." and then ignored me. The owner claimed that "the staff didn't touch the food." However, before the cleaner edited her message, it explicitly stated: "Don't put food that can be stored at room temperature in the refrigerator." They never apologize or properly explain problems. I strongly recommend finding another place to stay.

Alloggio pulito e confortevole. A 10 minuti a piedi dalla linea della metro, la quale è collegata bene con il centro. Spazi personali ben divisi e zone in comune ben fornite e pulite. Ho chiesto un servizio aggiuntivo (per una sorpresa di compleanno) e il proprietario è stato disposto ad effettuarlo perfettamente. Il personale è stato super disponibile e gentile durante il check-in e check-out. Con un supplemento di €10 si possono lasciare i bagagli nell’alloggio e ritirarli successivamente. Consiglio vivamente questo alloggio per le vostre vacanze a Barcellona!

We were surprised when property manager asked us to put $1 deposit with credit card to their website. I hope that I will not find some other charges on that credit card later on. Hotels.com was communicating with us in Spanish language, which we do not understand. It was very loud in our room at night, because other guests were talking. It was difficult to sleep.

The kitchen was fully equipped and kept immaculately clean. Also nicely updated. Other guests were very respectful. There were strict rules about cleaning up after oneself. The property is in a fabulous location. Easy to get around. We preferred to eat our evening meals right within our block. There were so many coffe places, pubs and restaurants with all types of food. We stayed 6 nights and nothing was ever repetitive. Great grocery stores also. We had the private room with private bathroom. It has had a nice balcony. Very quiet. Very respectable guests. The bathroom was spacious. All decorative appointments were much appreciated. It was easy to feel at home. We mostly used the kitchen for breakfast, sometimes lunch. One thing to consider when booking that the check-in process is not self check-in. One has to keep them updated on your arrival time. But for the value it is all worth it.

Everything was great, except that only one bathroom and shower in five rooms was far too few. The host was very friendly and helpful. Because of a flight delay, I didn't check in until midnight, and the host waited for me, for which I was very grateful.

Fint kök och helt ok badrum. Rummet var en besvikelse eftersom det inte alls liknade fotot i annonsen. Våningssäng istället för dubbelsäng. Trångt, ingenstans för två personer att sitta, satt på golvet. Väldigt lyhört då rummet var beläget mellan gemensamt kök och badrum. Dålig ventilation. Frös om nätterna då det inte fanns täcke.

very good location in Barcelona, away from mass tourism, but easy enough to get to , once you find yourself around.Many restaurants and shops,I like the area a lot.Keep in mind this is not a hotel, it is an apartment that you are sharing with other guests with your own private room. The bathroom and kitchen are cleaned every day, the Wifi is good. It is a bargain for staying in Barcelona.The bed was very comfortable.

Good place to stay...

We had the worst experience here and I strongly recommend avoiding this property. We kept the hosts updated all day about our arrival, including when our domestic flight from Madrid was delayed. Even so, when we arrived at 3:30am, they made us wait outside for about 25 minutes. They had claimed they would be “waiting for us,” but based on the empty reception the next day, it’s clear they were never actually there. When the woman finally arrived, she immediately tried to charge us an extra cash fee that was never listed anywhere. When we questioned it, she said, “How will I get home then,” making it obvious the fee was just to cover her taxi. When we refused, she and another staff member threatened to kick us out at 4:00a.m. They later took €41.80 as a supposed “tourist tax,” which the police confirmed was not legitimate. When we asked for a receipt, the staff contradicted each other, refused responsibility, and were openly rude. The room itself was disgusting: hair all over the sheets and pillows, wet stains on the bedding, and green residue on the towels. It was clear the room hadn’t been cleaned at all. I took photos of everything. Between the fake fees, threats, lies, and unsanitary room, this place felt unsafe and dishonest. I would never stay here again.

Très belle expérience. La cuisine commune est très propre et fonctionnelle. Très bon matelas! La Chambre est très spacieuse. Les seuls bémols concernent le volet roulant cassé donc le bruit sur la rue et la propreté du sol dans la Chambre. Nous recommandons. C'est un très bon rapport qualité prix

Perfect!

Excellent location, clean room with a lovely balcony, and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Maria is a wonderful host who ensured everything was perfectly arranged before our check-in. Surrounded by many good restaurants and cafés, making the stay even more convenient and enjoyable. Staying at this place will be my first preference if I visit Barcelona again .

Handtagen till rumsdörrarna satt löst. Toalettsitsen var lös. Vattnet var inte varmt i varmvattenkranen. Köket var däremot fint och läget var centralt.

To begin we stayed in the property for 5 days and 4 nights. The room was extremely small, with barely enough room to squeeze around the bed. Additionally, the bathroom is a shared communal bathroom and was not advertised as such. The listing also stated that AC and washer/dryer was included in the rental but we were forced to pay 10 Euro’s per night that we wanted to use the AC and an additional 15 Euros to utilize the washer/dryer. The air conditioning unit seems to be on its very last legs as it randomly starts screeching and gurgling with ungodly noises every 30 minutes. These noises made it next to impossible to get a decent nights sleep. Also, we were not able to wash our own clothes and instead were told to leave 15 euros with our clothes and they would be washed. We only had 20 Euros so we left that with the clothes and the hosts ended up pocketing the extra 5 Euros instead of returning it to us. I don’t know about you but I don’t take to kindly to theft. Lastly there was loud construction noises going from 0900 to 1700 every day that we were there. The only positive to this stay was the proximity to the sights and attractions available in Barcelona.

Along with a shared kitchen, this place has a shared bathroom which is not advertised. I would not have stayed there if I knew that. I felt like I was intruding on the residents of the building.. I don’t like leaving unfavourable reviews but in this case I feel it important to highlight the shared bathroom
