西亞莫瓦倫緹納飯店

Al check-in, dopo aver visto le condizioni di pulizia e le dotazioni della cucina e del patio esterno, molto diverse dalle foto pubblicate, abbiamo deciso di non soggiornare in questa struttura e siamo stati costretti a trovare un albergo. Naturalmente ci è stato negato qualsiasi rimborso.

For apartments this accommodation was just ok. On arrival we were asked for a 50 Euro payment in cash which included a 30 Euro cleaning fee (why do I have to pay for their cleaning costs, surely this is part of owning an apartment) and then local taxes. This was of course a very disappointing start and would be better if this was paid up front alongside the hotels.com fee so it doesn't feel like an immediate rip off. The apartment was clean and tidy but basic. There are no little touches to make you feel welcome at all. You have to message the owner on arrival and then wait outside until he shows up. Despite having paid our additional fee there is absolutely no services like towel changes, so after 4 days of using the same towels everything gets a little grubby. I tried to put the bins out regularly but there was nowhere clearly to do this? There was also no brush provided to sweep the floor when it got sandy. We made the mistake of leaving a small amount of food out one night and woke up to find the kitchen full of ants swarming the food. The location is isolated but quiet and there is a bbq for each apartment (but of course you have to buy everything for it). The wifi and air con was very good. The pretty chairs outside are lovely but not comfy. Overall this is fine but absolutely nothing special. Would I stay here again - no. Would I recommend this to friends - probably not. The local restaurant El Sueno is walkable from here and is excellent!
