The food was very poor wouldn’t stay here again

Stayed here with a group of male friends. The property did everything we needed it to do for us and the pool area and public areas were good. The breakfast was adequate and plentiful but we wished there’d been a better selection of fresh fruit. What fruit there was often ran out and they weren’t quick to replace it. There was some mould around the bath and the balcony door didn’t lock but we were on the 10th floor and we rented a safe, so it didn’t matter too much. I would stay here again if I was in Benidorm for a few days.

Small single room, more than adequate for short stay in Benidorm. Lifts slow & some of the time inoperative. Great access to the night life, beach. Hotel pools lovely, breakfast good standard. Ten mins & 10 euros to old town in a cab, worth a visit.

We stayed in the pelicanos hotel in August 2025 for 5 nights. The hotel was very noisy! People coming and going all night long banging doors, had to go to reception at 04.30am as neighbours came in arguing, the hotel staff did deal with this swiftly, security banging on door within 5 minutes of me reporting it, and resolved issue. I should have realised it would have been noisy, considering the hotel was located at the start of the main nightlife strip. Did speak with others who said they didn't have any issues. Food was only OK. I don't normally have issues with the dining, but did struggle to find food I liked. The toast machines was very slow, had to put toast through 4 times (approximately 5 mins) to get it toasted. Kitchen staff were slow and didn't seem very interested in helping. People were waiting 10 minutes for an omelette. Front door to hotel was out of use for entire duration of stay. Room was good and bed was comfy, with the exception of the shower getting very hot intermittently, be very careful if you put young children in the shower. The room cleaner was excellent, as always. The pool was excellent and plenty of beds, entertainment staff very friendly. I know some points may feel trivial, but collectively can have an overhaul impact on your stay.

The staff are unfriendly unhelpful and the security especially around the pool area are intrusive and intense which makes relaxing by the pool difficult. We even got told off for sitting at a 4 chaired table for breakfast when there was only two of us and the dinning room was virtually empty but we were still told to move to a two chaired table. My friends were stuck in the lift, another friend had there bag stolen by cleaner, you are only allowed to smoke in one small corner of the hotel or on your balcony if you could afford to pay extra for a balcony. The food wasn't great the only real positive of this hotel was the location. It's over priced and I really wouldn't recommend this hotel or be returning to it.

We booked our room through hotels.com and that showed that we would have a balcony. We reached out to the hotel twice to confirm this detail and received no response. Upon arrival we were allocated a room with no balcony and this was unable to be changed as the hotel was full and there was no balcony room available to us. The family room we received was small and not very comfortable. The staff were professional and polite about the issue but it was still very dissapointing. The hotel has a lovely pool area and is well located and central. Overall it was a pleasant stay but the situation with the balcony negatively impacted our experience here.

People were happy and kids were having fun so which means the food and facilities were good

Hotel staff were outstanding. Activity crew do a great job keeping the guests entertained. The kids has a great time.

Mycket fint poolområde och gott om solstolar. Bra läge. Hotellstandarden i övrigt var medel. Lite slitigt och högljutt. Buffémat som var ganska dyr om man inte förbokat hel-eller halvpension. Ett hotell för charterresenärer från UK. I sin helhet var våra två nätter på hotellet en trevlig upplevelse.

Good value but in a non balcony no view room which was extremely noisy

Staff really lovely and rooms cleaned every day. Only downside is the food is let down so would advise going room only

The hotel was really clean, the pool area is very large and has a swim up bar, plenty of deck chairs and games and exercise in the pool during the day for adults and kids alike. The room was a very good size, i travelled as solo traveller and was more than satisfied with the room. Good water pressure in the shower and clean. The food i was very happy with, plenty of option's to keep u happy all week, one issue i hadn't realised was on half board basis u dont get drinks as part of the meal which was disappointing. U do at breakfast get coffee,tea, and other soft drinks however. The area is 5 mins walk from the beach which is long and clean and takes about 30 mins walk to the old town which is lovely. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby and it isnt too noisy considering the main strip is 10 mins away. One issue is there are constant homeless people sat on the path outside. Id definitely recommend it for families and small groups, couples

Great location and amazing pool area. Lifts aren’t great so brace yourself for a walk if you’re on the top floor.

It is a bit old fashioned now and needs a big upgrade. Food choice and service was basic Spanish orientated and not catered towards the mainly British guests (not really a problem for me). Breakfast was lukewarm at best and sporadic regarding rotation of the food and not keeping up with demand. We expected more quality for the price we paid.
