Eden Beach Khao Lak Resort & Spa

I liked the resort and the style a lot. Staff was very friendly. The room was clean but the smell of the AC air was terrible. I guess it was not the room rather the air from the AC system but it smelled very mouldy.

Schönes Hotel mit Strandlage und wunderbarer Gartenanlage. Aufgrund der Hanglage einige Treppen innerhalb der Anlage und der Weg zum Ort, ca. 300m, leicht bergab. Sehr gute Auswahl beim Frühstück. Es gab ausreichend Handtücher, auch für den Strand. Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer war gut individuell einstellbar. Die Sauberkeit in der gesamten Ankage sehr gut. Die Liegen rund um den Pool werden durch Gäste bereits frühmorgens mit Handtüchern blockiert. Am Strand sind aufgrund behördlicher Vorgaben Liegen nicht erlaubt. Der Strand und das Wasser waren immer sehr sauber. Wir können das Hotel absolut weiter empfehlen.

Hellhöriges Zimmer - Türe zum Gang dichtet kaum ab und alle Konversationen oder Schritte sind hörbar. Liegen am Strand sehr eng nebeneinander mit keinerlei Privatsphäre. Insgesamt sehr freundliches Personal.

Vi upplevde inte att hotellet levde upp till standarden som man förväntar sig på ett femstjärningt hotell. Hårda och obekväma sängar och man hade ställt in en stor soffa i rummet som upptog stor det av golvytan förutom sängen. Det är väldigt kuperat hotellområde med massor av trappor på den ena sidan från stranden sett och upp mot vägen man måste gå till för att komma ner till restaurangerna i den lilla byn. På motsatt sida hade man gjort en brant asfalterad väg. Bra restaurang och trevlig personal. Ont om solstolar som man ockuperade tidigt på morgonen och sedan gick till frukosten. Det finns bra strandrestauranger och ett bra utbud av restauranger i den lilla byn.

The hotel is located on a fantastic beach and appears to be the highest ranked hotel there. However, I would not say it’s more than a strong three or a week four than a five star hotel as they claim. Very friendly staff, but housekeeping is poor and my bed linen was torn and was never changed during a 9 night stay. The cleaning often took place late in the afternoon (between 4-5 pm) which was late given that it often rained during the afternoon and you then couldn’t access your room. The room was very dusty and I never saw a vacuum cleaner. There was a constant drainage in the shower. The pool area is way too small for the size of the hotel and by 7.30 am, all the sunbeds are taken by people that leaves the towels and come back a few hours later. Management doesn’t do anything about it. The hotel is very family oriented and kids are all over the pool playing the entire days, so great spot for families, but if you travel without kids you should be aware of this and chose another hotel if you want a more peaceful holiday. Breakfast was average and nothing special compared to other larger hotels in Thailand. Check out was very smooth and you were offered a shower room when a late check out wasn’t possible. There are a lot of smaller amazing restaurants on the beach if you turn left from the hotel. Our two favourites was Nicks and Friends, don’t miss out!

Zu wenig Liegen am Pool für die Anzahl der Gäste.

The resort is breathtaking! It was a beautiful elegant feel throughout. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had dinner and breakfast here and all the food was delicious. The bed was comfortable and will be a great place to come back to next time we're in Khao Lak!

Es ist ein tolles Hotel, der Weg zum Frühstück und zum Stand ist mit vielen Treppen verseht. Wer nicht gerne läuft sollte nicht im Haus A oder B sein Zimmer haben. Ein wirklich tolles Hitel mit tollen Mitarbeitern. Toller Service. Jetzt kommt das Aber. Leider haben wir innerhalb einer Wiche keine freie liege am Pool bekommen. Da viele Gäste sich mehrere Liegen reservieren. Diese sind teilweise um 6:30 Uhr schon belegt und werden kaum benutzt. Im Zimmer gibt es den Hinweis, dass die Handtücher am Pool entfernt werden, wenn die Liegen nicht benutzt werden. Das war nie der Fall. Trotz Hinweis! Man gab uns dann lieber neue Unterlagen um sich an den Strand zu legen…

The hotel is average in many kinds. No more or less. Good for package holidaymakers. I can’t recommend it during high season.

Inget 5 stjärniga direkt, alla solstolar var ”upptagna” redan kl 9 på morgonen. Folk lägger sina handdukar och går sen och gör annat hela dagarna, när hotellet själva skriver att detta inte är tillåtet. Vi bodde i en korridor där du hör allt som händer ute i korridoren. Mycket trappor och branta backar. Mest tyska charterturister. Blir en 3a

Excellent experience all together. Very good food, rooms and facilities. Specialy the grill sea food platters from beach terrace. Great beach around the place, good to swim, canoe, paddle boading. Staff was good with good attention.

TOP Hotel. Ein Traumstrand. Gute Essenmöglichkeiten in der kleinen Stadt. Etwas ruhig. Kaum Livemusik und wenig Bars. Aber war für uns gut so. Am Strand und Pool konnten wir sehr gut relaxen. Top Masagemöglichkeiten direkt am Strand und für die Mittagszeit sehr gute Restaurants in Strandnähe. Alles TOP

Die Anlage ist großartig. Ein wunderschöner Garten, die einzelnen Gebäude sind schön in die Umgebung eingelassen. Was uns nicht so gut gefallen hat sind die vielen Treppen. Das Hotel steht an einem Hang, sodass man zum Frühstück und zum Pool viele Treppen laufen muss. Ist für Personen mit Bewegungseinschränkungen oder älteren Personen schwierig. Der Poolbereich ist schön groß. Leider werden aber trotzdem Liegen belegt, welche zum Teil bis mittags nicht benutzt werden. Dachte, das hätten wir hinter uns, ist ja nicht Malle. Das Personal ist zwar angehalten, Handtücher zu entfernen. Wenn aber persönliche Sachen dabeiliegen, dürfen sie das nicht. Essen war sehr lecker. Morgens wird es aber echt voll und dann ist es laut. Die anderen Restaurants sind auch super vom Essen. Spa ist toll, man kann direkt am Strand massiert werden. Das Hotel bietet einen kostenfreien Shuttle am Abend nach Khao Lak und den Markt an. Super Sache. Alles in einem ist es eine schöne Anlage, etwas groß vielleicht, aber wen das nicht stört, kann sich hier wunderbar erholen.
