Staff were very warm, checkin and out were efficient. Facilities more than adequate - pool, gym, restaurant, bar, ktv, beach chairs, guarded parking etc. Room was large, clean and comfy as well. Just 1 quirk... The toilet door badly needs fixing, it can't close tightly and it's extremely hard to slide ooen/close.

The hotel and its staff were truly accommodating. With it being the low season and many hotels in the vicinity closing for the rain, The Grand Southsea welcomed us with open arms, there were not many guests but this meant we had the luck of having the staff be extremely attentive. The Thai culture is very warming already and this extra care made us even more happier with the choice of hotel. The food in the hotel was very good, we tried all sorts of Thai dishes every day and breakfast was included with a wide range with as much as you like, all freshly made on order. Teas and coffees along with fruit and bottled water was available in your room every day and the changeover service was second to none with the amazing house cleaning team even helping dry our wet swimwear when we had to rush out for our next trip. The location is great however it is a 10 minute drive to the centre of the main road but the beach is across from the hotel and has a fantastic sunset view with sand and old coral. The restaurants nearby are very true local Thai places and they are all very happy to have you stay. The pool in the hotel is very nice and with jet powered spa area and infinite drop on the edge of the pool. Cocktails in the hotel are fairly priced but you may need to explain in Thai how you would like it as there are differences in cultures and how things are served but still fantastic. 5 stars for sure and will definitely head back in their summer! Great trip :)

提早5個月訂了2間雙床的雙人房,到check in當天卻被帶去只有一張床的雙人房,向人員表示我們訂的是雙床的房間,她卻回答:我們房間都滿了.訂的房型標榜"半海景",卻什麼都看不見,房間望出去都是樹.飯店到海灘2分鐘就到了,但什麼躺椅陽傘通通沒有,一片荒蕪,海邊的環境也沒有很好.早上莫名其妙被拉去用餐,卻事後表示,我們的訂房不含早餐,每個人要收取550的費用,真的太離譜了,都沒有先身分確認,然後用餐完才告知.這飯店好的大概只有房間很大而已

Sehr ruhig gelegen.Einige Restaurants sind fußläufig zu erreichen.Es gibt keine Fahrstühle und das Personal ist etwas knapp. Wir mussten unsere Koffer in die zweite Etage schleppen. Für fen Preis waren wir in Thailand schon in besseren Hotels. Insgesamt hat es uns aber gefallen.

Bra läge vid stranden. Gå längre bort till vänster där är stranden mycket finare. Väldigt tyst och nästan lite ödsligt på hotellet. Lite slitet och omgivningen runt hotellet behöver en uppfräschning. Helt ok frukost.

Hotellin henkilökunta oli erittäin mukavaa ja avuliasta, saimme apua rikkinäisen saftyboxin ja tukkeutuneen wc-pöntön kanssa erittäin nopeasti. Hotelli on hyvin syrjässä, eikä kävelyetäisyydellä ole oikeastaan muuta kuin ranta, muutama paikallinen ravintola ja pieni minimarketti. Paikkana se sopii siis rauhallista lomailua arvostavalle. Me olimme täällä lomamme neljä ensimmäistä yötä, joka sopi meille mainiosti, näin saimme ottaa muutaman päivän aivan rauhassa ja tämän jälkeen siirryimme Phukettiin, jossa tapahtuu enemmän. Miljöö oli erittäin miellyttävä ja hotellilta löytyi kaikki tarvittava, joskin ainakin meidän huoneemme olisi kaivannut pientä pintaremonttia.

Gutes Hotel unmittelbar am Strand. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich, die Zimmer modern mit kleinen Schönheitsfehlern. Das Bad ist super. Einziger Wehrmutstropfen ist das Frühstücksbuffet. Darüber sollte das Management nachdenken und dies verbessern. Einfach den Hotelgästen mal zuhören, die Bechwerden sind ja schließlich immer die gleichen. Wir waren 5 Tage in diesem Hotel, als Abschluss unseres 3 wöchigen Thailandurlaubes. Überall gab es abwechslungsreiches thailändisches Frühstück mit viel Obst, ausser in diesem Hotel. Aber auch wegen dem Essen fahren wir ja nach Thailand. Toast mit Butter und Käse und Ei bekomme ich zu Hause. Für Abends gibt es geügend nette Lokale wo man toll Fisch und Thai essen kann. Tja und der Strand ist der Hammer. Für lange Spaziergänge ideal. Zum schwimmen weniger geeignet, da man doch relativ weit ins Meer laufen müsste.

In der Vorsaison war das Hotel durch eine Gruppe Chinesen und wenige europäische Gäste belegt. Von daher hatte man die volle Aufmerksamkeit des Personals. Entgegen vorherigen Bewertungen, waren die Zimmer sehr sauber, großzügig und modern eingerichtet. Täglich wurden die Hand-/Badetücher und bei Bedarf auch die Kopfkissen-/Bettbezüge gewechselt. Auch die Preise der Getränke in der Minibar waren erschwinglich. Das Personal war ständig bussy und auf Sauberkeit bedacht.-Das Frühstück wurde in einem Konferenzraum (klimatisiert) aber ohne Fenster gereicht und von den asiatischen Mitgästen bevorzugt. Alternativ zu empfehlen war aber das a la Card-Restaurant (frei ohne Klima aber mit Natur pur einschl. Wasserspielen) in dem nach eigener Auswahl ein fürstliches Frühstück zusammengestellt werden konnte. Für`s Dinner oder Lunch empfiehlt sich die Umgebung zu erkunden.

Der ersten Blick auf's Hotel war enttäuschend. Lobby und die Rezeption, alles wikt abgewohnt.Es muss sehr viel renoviert werden.!!! Alles ist alt, kaputt und schmutzig. Duschgarnituren wackelig, Handtuchaufhängung fiel von der Wand.heißes Wasser gab es erst nach Beschwerde, man musste das Wasser 15 Minuten laufen lassen...Klimaanlage viel 2 Mal komplett aus. Bett sehr hart und ausgelegen. Bitte auf Softtopper wurde nicht verstanden. Poolbereich geht gar nicht. 16 Liegen, Liegekissen einfach nur EKLIG!!! Dreckig, fleckig aber man kann ja ein ebenfalls dreckiges & fleckiges Handtuch drüberlegen. Poolbereich--> es stehen Nägel aus dem Holz, Kabel hängen frei rum!!! Holz ist gebrochen. Englischkentnisse der Mitarbeiter sehr schlecht, deswegen auch Beschwerden/normale Frage unmöglich. Sehr viele chinesische Reisegruppen. Sehr laute An-u. Abreise. Das Hotel besitzt keine Liegen und Sonnenschirme am Strand. Gott sei Dank gibt es die Strandbar "Memories" mit kostenlosen Liegen. Sehr zu empfehlen!!! Strand weitläufig und sehr schön.

We were told we had to pay for breakfast (550 baht per person, each day) even though it was clearly indicated on our reservation papers breakfast was included. It took two days to sort and we had to call hotels.com for help. Once sorted, all was ok.

Bei der Ankunft wurden wir nett empfangen. Auf den ersten Blick wirkt diese Hotel, vor allem die Lobby und die Rezeption einladend, doch ein zweiter Blick reicht und einem wird sofort klar, dass es in diesem Hotel sehr sehr viel zu renovieren gäbe!!! Alles ist alt, kaputt und schmutzig. Das Zimmer ist schmuddelig, die Betten werden zwar täglich gemacht und Handtücher gewechselt doch mehr wurde in den 8 Tagen nicht geputzt. Sand und Haar im Bad noch von den Vorgängern. Wenn man Naturstein in der Dusche verbaut muss dieser auch gepflegt werden. Wasserhahn fiel mehrmals einfach ab. Duschgarnituren wackelig, Handtuchaufhängung fiel von der Wand.... das alles sind nur einige Beispiele von den Zuständen im Zimmer. Poolbereich einfach nur heruntergekommen. 16 Liegen, dazu 5 Sonnenschirme, Liegekissen einfach nur EKLIG!!! Dreckig, fleckig aber man kann ja ein ebenfalls dreckiges & fleckiges Handtuch drüberlegen. Ganzer Aufenthalt 1x ein sauberes Handtuch bekommen. Poolbereiech --> es stehen Nägel aus dem Holz, Kabel hängen frei rum!!! Holz ist gebrochen teilweise, Duschen am Pool absolut wiederlich! Auf der Terrasse sitzen ist abends auch nicht möglich da auf dem ganzen Anwesen Wasserbecken mit stehendem Wasser angelegt sind -->Mosquitos! Englischkentnisse der Mitarbeiter grottenschlecht, deswegen auch Beschwerden/normale Frage unmöglich. Hotel ist wohl Anlaufpunkt Nr.1 für chinesische Reisegruppen. Strandbar "Memories" sehr zu empfehlen!!! Strand weitläufig und sehr schön!

Booked a premier garden sea view room was given a room full of Mosquitos and bottom floor wasn't happy so was given a first floor room and room was 100 times better but there is a bad odours in both rooms maybe it's the wood or dampness but it isn't pleasant. Only stayed one night and to be honest I wouldn't stay again there's big trees blocking the sea view and hotel itself doesn't seem well maintained to be honest and very quite.
