The Cove Phi Phi

Værelset var rent og havde en meget smuk udsigt, langt væk fra larm fra “midtbyen” på phi phi. Vi var dog nødt til at skifte værelse grundet nogle kradse lyde inde fra væggene, hvilket holdte os vågen om natten, men jeg tror bare vi var har været uheldige. Personalet var heldigvis behjælpelig og vi fik hurtigt et nyt værelse. Puderne var en smule hårde og airconditionen virkede, men der var stadig meget varmt inde på værelset. Nemt med en boat taxa til og fra hotellet , dog lidt pricey, men det er hvad det koster normalt. Båd taxaen ved check out var gratis, hvilket var dejligt. Der er ikke det store at lave om aftenen på resortet, samt der visse mangler fx som pool bordet som ikke virkede og der manglede bolde. Morgenmaden er OK, men det samme hver dag og ikke super meget at vælge i mellem. Maden på resortet er også OK, men de er bedst til at lave de thailandske retter hvilket er helt fair. Meget sødt personale. :)

Stay was overall amazing, great location and beautiful private beach and great view from room. Only issue is no access to any store apart from the hotels minimart. Apart from that the food was great but a bit expensive.

Pire hôtel jamais fais pourtant j’ai l’habitude des hôtels.. punaise de lit problème avec la Clim avec l’électricité et avec l’eau. Le personnel qui prend de haut, honnêtement fuyez cette établissement. Beau cadre mais un cadre qui ne vaut pas le service inclus même si on me paye je ne reviendrai jamais dans cette établissement. Fuyez il n’y a qu’à regarder les avis…

Staff was great. Rooms were clean with good AC. Food was excellent although no Thai food or rice was offered at breakfast. The Thai food on the menu was great. Beautiful location and the surf was wonderful to listen to. The biggest drawback was the trash on the beach. In the immediate front of the bungalows there was an effort to clean the beach but move 50m in either direction and trash was everywhere. That was a turn off and surprising based on other places we’ve seen. The bamboo floors of the bungalows were uneven and a little hard to navigate.

Do not listen to the bad reviews. People will always find something to complain about, and forget how little they payed for their stay. This place exceeded all of our expectations, and the people working there was really welcoming and polite. It really is a paradise, and perfect for couples.

Room had an incredible view of the beach and sea. Breakfast was great, lots of options. We loved our stay at the Cove!

Jätte fint hotell 20 min från ton sai pier otroligt trevlig peronal vattnet är renaste på hela ön privat strand finns ingen underhållning på kvällen men annars otroligt fint ett paradise

For us all was ok. Stay 1 week free boat to the city and back. Beautiful beach. Very kind and helpful staff. Continental breakfast, but no cheese.

Room was ok. The staff were nice. They food at the restaurant was very basic and the portions were very small. Service was really slow many times waiting 20 plus minutes for the food to arrive. Restaurant area is very unattractive. This would not be such an issue if there were any other options for dinning out but you need to take a boat to town to have any other eating options and the last boat back to the resort is at 4:30 so you don't have any options but to be stuck eating at their restaurant. I'm sure that they plan it that way so everyone is stuck eating there. Food is overpriced for the portion sizes. I would not recommend staying at this location.

Really enjoyed despite the very hard bed!

15/10 experience. This isn’t a boujie hotel by any means but aims to give you that true island experience. And they delivered. The dinners were to die for, so goooodd… the breakfast could have better options. But I get it - remote island infrastructure is limited. The bathroom is not fancy at all, has a geyser to heat water and a little toilet, but we loved it, gave it that authentic feel to living unplugged and disconnected.

Det bedste her var lokationen. Flot strand, lækker udsigt fra bungalow. Det var mega lækkert. Dertil var det dejligt at man kunne låne håndklæder til stranden. Der var dog ikke nok liggestole, hvilket var lidt ærgerligt. Dertil var personalet ikke særlig god til engelsk. Receptionen snakkede fint engelsk, men eksempelvis blev der misforstået på restauranten, så vi fik noget forkert end hvad vi bestilte. Dertil bestilte vi forret og hovedret. Hovedretten var en karry, som var klar, og kom før vores forretter. Så det var lidt underligt at spise hovedret før forretterne. Derudover kom forretterne heller ikke samtidigt. De blev bare leveret, når de var klar. Lidt synd at det ikke kommer i rækkefølge.

Clean lovely place to escape to relax on the beach

Fantastisk sted, veldig rolig. Nydelig personalet som tar inn/ut check, trygge båtvante gutter som frakter deg med long-trai til/fra overnattingsstedet. Så også apekatter to ganger. Solen forsvinner litt tidlig fra stranden.

The room was adequate. The daily room cleaning was nit so good. Sometimes leaving yoy coffee and clean cups, other times just clean towels and made bed. The staff was all very attentive abd friendly. The restaurant food was good.

I loved my full week there. I hope to return soon.

This is a very quiet - and quite basic - hotel on what is effectively a private beach. While the isolation makes it quiet the lack of facilities are an issue - there is no bar and the restaurant is not conducive to Lingering over dinner. The rooms are very basic, the beds are uncomfortable and the doors didn’t lock - a door issue not a lock problem. I have also marked them down for eco friendliness as I pointed out to the receptionist there are no bins on the beach and there is a lot of plastic floating in the sea - I pulled out as much as I could but had no where to put it. To sum up if you don’t mind basic and want a few days peace and quiet I would highly recommend- if not I would book somewhere else
