It's worth it to book a room with an exterior (yet private) jacuzzi. The huge balcony makes the suite seem huge and luxurious compared to the rooms at almost the same price. There are curtains to close the balcony to make the jacuzzi for 2 private and comfortable. Breakfast was good but they didn't have coffee. Only instant Nescafe and powdered creamer. Maybe they'll add coffee to the breakfast soon if enough people request it. Our room had a view of the lake through the area between the buildings. Maybe try and request 4102 because it might be the only one with a distant lake view.

I recommend paying the small amount extra to get the outdoor jacuzzi suite. Having that grand balcony makes the room feel like a suite. Great outdoor jacuzzi for 2. We were happy to actually have an indirect lake view (we could see it through the other building. We stayed here twice. We'll stay there again. On a slightly less positive note. The bath mat towel was tattered and falling apart the first time. It was almost brown with stains the second time. Oh, it was "clean" but stained beyond acceptability. It seems like housekeeping must be disconnected to management and doesn't understand that a tattered mat can be replaced very cheaply and gives the whole hotel a feeling that someone doesn't care. It's those details that are important. The breakfast buffet was pretty good. Except please, serve coffee. Most hotels serving breakfast offer coffee. Offering hot water and nescafe and powdered creamer just doesn't suffice. It's not difficult to make a few pots of real coffee. 9 out of 10 hotels in thailand do it. The pool was freezing, thus unusable. There are plastic covers that help keep pools warmer that could bring the temperature up to normal. Of course, we were there a cold week in winter, but still, a pool doesn't need to be "heated" to be nice.
