Good value for money

This hotel is located within the Bangkok old town and is well surrounded by historic scenic spots and nice dining places, but owing that living here for two nights, we missed the must try pad tai restaurant that will need to be explored the next round. We appreciate the welcome service of the staff and the size within the room. I did enjoy the swimming pool alone in the early morning. The usual opening hours are from 7am to 9pm. On the design of the hotel bathroom in Room 401, the glass panel could not cover the spitting water when taking bath and we dare not to use the overhead shower at all. Also there was dripping water from the air-conditioning filter near to the wardrobe made me an accident nearly fell down on the wet floor. Hope the management could consider some enhancement measures for improvement. Mind too there is a major construction site along the road pathway to Sam Yot mrt which may give inconvenience when carrying lugguage to and fro the hotel.

The staff was very kind, helpful and friendly. The facilities are clean and well kept. This hotel has more of a local feel than the big chains and is very well located for temples and palace.

Et veldig fint hotell, med hyggelig og svært imøtekommende personale. Høy standard både på service og rom. Ryddig og reint. God frokost! Beliggenheten var for oss perfekt! Hotellet ligger i gamle Bangkok. Gangavstand til Grand Palace, andre templer, Chinatown og for en gammel backpacker; også gangavstand til Khaosan Road (om man vil ned «memory road»). Ellers finnes også jazz/blues/musikk-klubber i området (25-30 minutter gange). Vi anbefaler hotellet på det varmeste!

Clean room, great locations to visit Bangkok

The hotel i well located, and the rooms are nice, clean and spacious. The water pressure in the shower was almost nonexistent, and the "swimming pool" is a joke looking far better on the picture. The staff, however, are the most kind people.

The front desk staff were friendly, room was spacious and clean, and free water was provided. Wifi worked well, water pressure and temperature were good, and AC also worked well. Beightbohood was convenient for Chinatown food tour and visiting the temples in Old Town. Overall, would recommend this spot!

We stayed at Villa de Pranakorn for 5 nights. The staff was friendly and very helpful, setting up transportation and making recommendations. The room was large and quiet, the bed comfortable, but the reason this isn’t a 5/5 review is the shower. The water temperature was constantly fluctuating any where from cold the dangerously hot - making the daily necessity miserable. We had one meal in the restaurant and thought it was ok, but overpriced since there are a few good spots a short walk away at half the price. The location is a quick tuk-tuk ride or 20 minute walk to major sites. Overall good experience.

The location of the hotel is near to all major atractions. The hotel is very clean; breakfast was very good and Malila was most helpful and very kind. Highly recomended.

Great modern hotel in the heart of the old city. Staff was amazing. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. And great breakfast options. Walkable to some major sites including the giant swing and the Golden Mount.

An amazing spot to stay in Bangkok! It was in walking distance to a lot of the Wats and Chinatown market. Very friendly staff and you are greeted with delicious tea. I would definitely recomend
