Hotel Ozyel lies in the center of Ortahisar town in Nevsehir. It's quite close to centre of hot air baloon in Cappadocia, Goreme, just 5 minutes by bus / car or 60 minutes walk. You could ride bus from Goreme Otogar (Goreme bus stop) with direction of Avanos - Urgup. It will cost you only 3.5 TRY. From there, it will be 10 minutes walk to the hotel. The city itself is quiet, but the hotel is nice. We got offered the mountain view room, which is incredible. We could see the whole town with bird view angle from our room (201). The hotel was clean, the staffs were honest and helpful (Padma, mr. Recep, and mr. Yunus). Last, the hotel was close from Urgup town, and 10 minutes walk to Ortahisar castle, which was amazing. This town and this hotel will give you different experience of Cappadocia, especially if you want to avoid the touristy area of Goreme, and want to blend in with local.
