The highlight of a stay at the Radisson Blu Bosphorus hotel has to be breakfast. To sit at the water’s edge in Europe looking across to Asia is a unique experience. The food is plentiful and excellent, the staff friendly but professional. The only fly in the ointment during this stay were some other guests who behaved like hunter-gatherers piling a table with cakes, fruit, even omelettes that were left uneaten, but wasted in a table of melon pieces squashed strawberries and patisseries. That, of course is not the fault of the hotel and I would add that we have stayed here many times and this was the first time we encountered the caveman family. Even here, the staff were brilliant.

Das Hotel ist gut gelegen und man erreicht mit der Fähre nahezu alle Häfen. Leider keine Metro und Bus ist nicht zu empfehlen da immer überfüllt und Stau. Das Service Personal ist sehr positiv hervorzuheben hatten immer ein offenes Ohr und waren immer zuvorkommend. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer ist jedoch sehr altmodisch und es wirkt alles in die Jahre gekommen, hier ist dringend eine Modernisierung fällig, für mich persönlich kein 5 Sterne Standard. Die möbel sind zum Teil fleckig im Bad sind viele kaputte Fliesen die Balkon möbel ungeputzt usw. Unter dem Hotel ist ein Nachtclub/Bar welcher bis in die Nacht Laute Musik spielt, Lärmsensible Leute sollten dies auf jeden Fall vorher wissen. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit traumhaftem Ausblick auf den Bosporus, definitiv das Highlight des Hotels. Preis-leistungstechnisch bin ich alles in allem nicht wirklich überzeugt würde das Hotel mit 2-3 Sternen bewerten da die Aussicht wirklich einzigartig war und das ganze etwas rettet. Würde trotzdem eher nicht nochmal buchen.
