As usual, we received a very warm welcome when we arrived by ALL the staff we encountered. As we arrived early, we were very happy to relax and have a coffee in the lobby bar. Arrangements were made to have our room made up before the official checking in time. The delightful gentleman on reception organised a table for us in the restaurant for that evening and also organised to collect our car-keys when our car was returned to the hotel later that day. Kindness at it's best. As usual, our room was very well appointed with wonderful views across the Bay of Izmir. Nothing had been missed and we were very impressed by the basket of fresh fruit delivered to our room. We spent the rest of the day by the pool relaxing in the sunshine and had a lovely lunch. There are always birds in the area due to close proximity to the sea. However, the seagulls this time were a nuisance begging for and getting tit-bits and defacating into the water and around the pool. We feel that this was NOT hygenic and the staff could have done more to deter the birds. In the evening we had a nice table in the restaurant near the piano and with a lovely view. However, we found the menu very lacking in vegetarian options offering only salad or spaghetti, not very exciting for a celebration meal. There were lots of lovely vegetable dishes on offer alongside the meat options. Breakfast, as always, was sumptuous and made our anniversary stay complete. We will return in the future.

Minibar provizyonu (oda başına 2000 lira) tutumu çok can sıkıcı, onur kırıcı bir durum. Daha önce başka bir otelde rastlamadım, bu bile tek başına bu oteli bir daha tercih etmemem için bir neden. Kahvaltı gibi ücret seçeneklerinde bulunması çok daha iyi olurdu. Bunun dışında, iki tane üç kişilik oda almamıza, resepsiyonda çocuk yatağının notlarda belirttiğimiz gibi hazırlandığı da teyit edilmesine rağmen üçüncü yataklar odaya girdiğimizde mevcut değildi. Ek yataklar resepsiyon ile konuşmamız sonrası getirildi. Deniz manzaralı odalarda kaldık. Kahvaltı ve oda temizliği iyiydi. Fakat uzun ve yorucu bir yolculuk sonrası yukarıda belirttiğimiz durumlar ile karşılaştığımız için bir daha tercih etmeyeceğimiz bir otel oldu.

It was very good one night stay. We were swimming in the indoor pool, were using sauna (they have 3 kinds of it, plus Turkish bath), were enjoying wonderful view to the sea and military ship. Breakfast was also very nice.
