Americana Inn, a Travelodge by Wyndham

It was ok as far as a bed to sleep in. Otherwise the tv didn't work good an the remote didn't work at all. The bed had a stain . And people blocking the entrance to hotel all day was annoying

The beds was hard, it was supposed to been a double queen bed but it was more like a full size. They had roaches (I do have pictures if you need proof) the fire alarm was taken down and laid on the sink (again I do have pictures as proof if needed) the water pressure in the shower was TERRIBLE (I do have a video if needed) the room was dirty around the sink and had several cracks in the concrete in the floor and ceiling. When asked for clean towels the cleaning lady told us she didn’t have any so we went down stairs to get some and was told they didn’t have anything clean so the guy working had to go get clean ones from one of the rooms. We asked for floor level and was told we could get it but the WiFi didn’t work on the bottom and it was needed for the tv. When we went to use the coffee pot it was dirty and they never came to clean our room and had a sticker on the mirror that said they only clean the rooms every 3 days. The plug ins didn’t work on one side of the wall. Best part is I got a txt message that said if we needed anything to reply to that msg we did but never heard from anyone we told the ppl working at checkout and we still never heard from from anyone. So I guess the saying is true you get what you pay for I will never stay at they hotel again sure it was cheap but being cheap isn’t worth seeing roaches crawling around and take a chance of bringing them back home with you

This is, by far, the most disgusting place I have ever stayed. Sad, because it has so much potential. I suppose it can be chalked up to the fact it was $50/night amongst other hotels that cost more. The first room I got had a hole in the wall about the size of a man’s foot. I asked to change rooms and it at least didn’t have a hole in the wall. Upon entering, the plate around the doorknob fell off in the floor. Thankfully, the door would still lock. The young man at the front desk came up and fixed it. I immediately noticed a Mountain Dew bottle cap on the floor and a clear plastic wrapper in the floor. I checked the mattresses and sheets and they seemed to be fine. As far as room condition, there was NO smoke detector, the ceiling light was missing its cover, the towels were stained, there were multiple burn holes in both bedspreads, there was some mystery smeared stain on the wall under where the clothes are hung, the bathroom shower faucet wasn’t anchored to the wall, the shower head was so low that it was directly in front of my face and I’m 5’6”, there was the plastic liner that’s in the crotch of bathing suit bottoms stuck to the side of the entertainment center, there was coffee supplies but no coffeemaker, the outlet between the beds wasn’t secure in the wall, the door and door jamb inside the bathroom was filthy, and there were black hairs everywhere. We were staying for 2 nights and would have booked elsewhere after seeing the room if we would have been able to.

The room did not look like what is avertized. It was broken and gross will never book again the shower was messed up the door ect. The bed is uncomfortable and smelled bad. They also out a 75$ hold on my account that i was unawear of. Will never go back

The room deadbolt is boken. There was a number of lights in the room did not work. TV was fuzzy. Room key had to be reprogramed 3 times. The bathroom fan cover was missing and dirty as hell and did not work,

Like the surrounding area

The shower is good if you are 5ft or less. But anything over that, you have to stoop down to get under the water. The first room we were given, the beds had not been cleaned and the tv didn’t work. But the 2nd room was fine. When we left, we could see the first room still had not been cleaned. Beds were ok. The pillows were hard and uncomfortable.

Staff at front desk was not friendly. The fan in bathroom did not work the toilet didn’t flush and outlets didn’t work

No coffee pot or table in room. Tub did not drain when taking shower. Stains on blanket which some looked like blood and pee. Could not use pool at all, and asked for another pillow and new blanket and did not get any of them when i asked for them. When i went to get coffee down in the lobby the y were out and wouldnt make more for the customers.

Rude

This property is absolutely disgusting. We got our first room and it was so nasty. We found hair all over the shower, there was mold, our sheets were soiled, the t.v was broken and multiple things were broken. It smelled awful. We were moved the next day and it was still a semi dirty room with a broken shower and t.v. DO NOT STAY HERE.

The bed smelled like it had been washed and shower appeared clean, it was a wonderful location, and it was a super decent price so it met all my requirements. However, the mattress was VERY well worn, the room needed swept and wiped down, the tv would come and go which made it hard to watch, pool needed cleaned so we wouldn't use it, and the guy that checked me in was argumentative.

Rooms are filthy. Didn’t even stay. Hotel staff said I would get a refund and instead they charged me double.

The staff at the hotel might as well have been non existent cause they didnt do anything but accept your money. The rooms had roaches and some type of flying bug looked like fleas. The pool was so dirty it looked like just years of built up dirt and grime at the bottom. Not to mention all the cigarette butts and trash and bugs floating in the pool. The wacko white trash dude thats supposed to be cleaning and maintaining the pool would rather fight with his hillbilly butt buddy then do his job. Smh. The whole place looked like its on the verge of being condemned including the people that work/ live there.

Great location, i did see new rooms as I passed , my room window broke lock broke shower sprout lose and seen a roach in drawer , pool was in bad shape broken title , cig butts all threw patio , at least water was clear !! I guess you get what you pay for !!

It was awful. Spend tour money on something worth staying in. A few issues (not conclusive list): gnats in room, dirty walls/door, old dirty and odor carrying curtains, lock in door missing, rude front desk employees, police activity half of the nights, broken dresser, mini refrigerator not stable..........the list goes on and on.

Very basic hotel in desperate need of upgrades. Room was not cleaned well as shampoo bottles were still in shower. I did find a 6 pack of beer in fridge so staff does not check that ( bonus for me) Pool was nice in fact it was the best part of the hotel.

Tv didn't have good picture and remote didn't work. Was hot when first arrived. Bed was comfortable. Microwave didn't have a available plug in. Coffee machine was busted up. . But for the small price i paid an where its located it wasn't too bad
