We loved this motel! Helpful, friendly staff ... clean room ... comfy beds ... we'd definitely stay here again.

We only stayed one night and all was good. All was quiet and got a good night's sleep. Ohh, and a good location; Italian restaurant was a 3 minute walk, movie theater about 10 minute drive, and Spank's has great breakfasts.

Room has everything we needed, including a refrigerator and microwave.

Blue Spruce Motel is extremely clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff people are wonderful. It's not like staying at a bland chain motel - which is a good thing. There are even tall blue spruce trees at the entrance to the motel - and local products for sale in the lobby. Tables to sit outside during nice weather.

It’s in a more run down area but we felt perfectly safe. Room was once a smoking room and that smell just never goes away. Very eco friendly, recycling bin in room, great info on how they are supporting efforts to be climate aware. I think people should consider this little gem hidden away. We met someone who comes from a town away to buy the donuts.

Rooms are very clean and the staff is wonderful. They brought me to my room to make sure I was ok with the room.

Casual comfort. The Blue Spruce in Masena NY is an independent establishment with the convenience of a well appointed motel plus the charm, extras, and outstanding service of a traditional B&B. The owners and staff were attentive and met all our requests. The fresh doughnuts were amazing and the gift shop with organic and sustainable products was a gem. The staff clued us in to some top rate local restaurants which added to the warmth and charm of our stay. We love staying at independent hotels and appreciate when we can walk away feeling a connection to the place. The Blue Spruce Motel fit the bill!

Location is Excellent

I traveled to the area to visit my son at Clarkson University. The places closer to campus were booked, so I ventured a little further out. The Blue Spruce was about 30 minutes away. I stayed in one of the King Rooms down a little pathway. The room was immaculately clean. The bed was very comfortable, not saggy or too soft or too firm. I had a little electric fire place in the room to combat the chill in the air. There was a full coffee set up with a drip pot, not a single cup brewer. And a large refrigerator, not dorm room sized. The woman who checked me in walked me to the room and asked if I needed anything else. I was only there for 1 night but I would absolutely stay there again.
