I had a really nice stay at Cecil Bacon Manor. The house has a lot of character, and the rooms are comfortable with a good mix of old charm and modern touches.
Breakfast each morning was tasty and set a good start to the day. The hosts were friendly, easy to talk with, and happy to offer tips about the area.
The location worked out well — it’s in a quiet neighborhood, but still convenient for getting around.
Overall, it was a pleasant and relaxing place to stay, and I’d be glad to come back.
This was a first stop on a big road drip in Seattle and BC.
When we arrived we were absolutely stunned at how lovely the guest house was.
It is like stepping back in time 100 years or more - original features and decor everywhere.
The location is spot on - loads of bars and restaurants in Capitol Hill all within walking distance, a nice park 10 minutes away and a bus stop that takes you right upto Pike Place.
Breakfast was very nice - my only observation is we could have done with a bit more of it - but thats being a bit picky.
A nice touch is that breakfast is served around a huge dining table so you get to meet the other guests.
