Beautiful new property and the hospitality ia 100 percent

Didnt care foe the area

Arrived and room was extremely tiny for 2 people, only had one bed and asked to upgrade. Was told the manager would not allow it even though they had rooms available. Bathroom door opened outward and entrance door was right next to it..Could even open the bathroom door all the way it hit the entrance door. I am not sure who designed these rooms, but it was too small for anything. I have never experienced a room this tiny, and I travel almost every weekend and stay in hotels. Woman at the desk was super nice and kept apologizing but wasn't her fault. No parking garage or lot. Have to park on the street and it's a meter!!! Never experienced a hotel without parking as well. Was never to this area before so it was chaotic for me to try to find parking and feel safe with my vehicle on the main street. I think if they allowed us to upgrade and pay more for a bigger room I would not have given such a bad review but why would the manager not allow it?

Overall is really good for the rates; new and clean. But the new porcelain flooring is uncomfortably cold on the feet and I rather have the warmth of the carpet flooring when it is clean carpet.

Rooms are beautiful and still very new and clean looking. Unfortunately, the single bed rooms are extremely small. But overall, it’s really nice.

Very convenient location close to Staten Island Ferry

Front desk rude. Elevator broken and was given a room on the 6th floor !

Small rooms but you are in city so the norm. Clean and bed comfortable. Very helpful staff and easy drive to ferry to NYC for 5 boro ride.

Convenient and good prices

I didn’t like the area of town it was in. The bathroom was hot. There’s no ventilation at such as air going into the bathroom in the bathroom. Door was really heavy and not necessary. Hated the tile flooring, and it was all wet from the Air Conditioning.

Check-in was easy, very cordial front desk staff. Upon arrival, we were greeted by lots of ants in our room. We thought maybe the previous guests left some food out. Asked to be moved and was told someone would come up and spray. They sprayed and we went out for dinner hoping for the best. When we came back there was still a continuous crawling of ants all over the floor. The final straw was seeing one on a pillow in the bed. We went back down to ask to be moved and was told there were no rooms available (she reached out to the manager). Came back up with the same spray, which I used to spray much more. I'm glad it was natural but the mint scent was bad enough to burn our eyes. We were forced to deal with this and while the ant population decreased over the next 24 hours, it never actually subsided. We stepped on ants very regularly during our stay. I asked twice via Expedia to speak to a manager and did not get a response. Poor follow up customer service. I will not be returning here and will consider this if I see a Day's Inn option in any of my travels.

Great place and quiet but no parking space.

The area around hotel was dirty, the room lacked an iron/board, the elevator broke down and we had to walk down five flights during our checkout.
