Loved that they provided water crafts and pool was heated!

Every time the room next to us used water it sounded like the wall was going to fall down... it was pretty disruptive and led to a, not so great night of sleep.

Everything about our stay at High Peaks was great! Service was friendly and helpful and the room was spacious and comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here and hope to stay here again!

Very nice property & in a great location, close to everything the town has to offer. It sits on mirror lake with great view & access to kayaks, paddle boats and stand up boards. Staff was extremely helpful and kind. A great time was had!

Incredible place and affordable compared to comparable places in the area. We stayed right on the water with the pool 15 feet outside our door. Was sad to leave

We loved our trip. The best part is location and free parking. Some mild cons: when we arrived. We were a bit confused as to what to do. We had to go in and ask. Also the walls are somewhat thin. Could hear other families. But it’s quiet and very clean hotel. Most of the staff was super friendly. Almost went out of their way. We would stay here again.

It was wonderfull beautiful veiw can walk to evwrything in town. Nice people

This property was fantastic. Having access to both the High Peaks Resort and the Lake House made our trip great. The paddle boards, pedal boats and kayaks available next to the lakeside hested outdoor pool were a favorite activity for my kids. This is a pet friendly resort. Cookies at 3 pm daily. Game room was great at night and on rainy days.

Great pet friendly hotel.

This property had a great location, great pools both indoor and outdoor. Easy to use lake front equipment like kayaks and paddle boards. Only complaint is that they don't have smart tvs. Seemed to be the only drawback. Everything else was well maintained and kept up so i was suprised that this was the case.

It’s a well maintained hotel at a perfect location. Loved our stay and will stay there again.

The property is quite run down, needs painting, renovations and the washroom had mold on the celling, broken shower, pillows were terrible, pool area has no ambiance, pool is cold, no service at the beach or pool. overall hotel and service are not as expected compared to other local hotels we visited.

Exelent hotel

High peaks was great for our summer stay in lake placid. We were in the waterfront collection and the ease of lake and pool access from the room was amazing. The rooms were cozy and beds comfortable. I wish they had fixed the dock the other side of the lake to give more options to sit and view the lake. The included water activities was a real treat! I would love to see refillable water dispensers, they were nowhere to be found at the resort; in the summer especially, that would have been nice. Also, one night they should have a late opening at the bar at the lake house. They closed at 9pm, in the summer. I get not every night but make it into a special evening with late night bar and maybe some activity at the lake house for the guests. Also, they had a movie night but I think the movie was poorly chosen because it was rated R-comedy and there were so many kids staying there at the waterfront and watching the movies. It was just uncomfortable. Could have been a family friendly comedy/movie but they made a bad choice. Other than that, recommend the resort, cant beat the location.
