The only thing is I booked a king bed room, but got a double bed room. Overall it was good stay

Great location!

I pay 3 night for the "Hearing" type of room, which is the room window is out forward and have a better landscape view, but the customer's service give me the regular double room and said it is HEARING, I wasted 1 night and discuss with the hotel manager at the morning, she said it is the website misleading and want me to pay extra $50 to upgrade, I said I already pay more than the regular double at the website, then she switches the "Hearing" room without charge, during the room switching, I leave my electronic toothbrush and shaver in the regular double. I notice my missing stuff within 24hr, I call the front desk looking for help, but they said room service didn't find anything. What a great day!

good size bathroom

The drains did not properly drain in the shower and sink. There are not enough towel racks. The beds are only double size. The bathrooms are not private, have no sound barrier, and when the light is on it disturbs others in the room.These beds and rooms are too small for four people sharing. You only get cable TV. I generally found NYC wildly over-priced, so I can't really give an objective review. Location is the only reason to stay here. Staff were helpful.

Very clean and affordable for NYC. Never felt like we were in any danger. Many options for dining, shopping and the subway within walking distance (pending weather of course).

Extremely clean and well maintained property. The location was right by a work conference location and I could walk easily. The property is close to the subway and I found it easy to get to other areas of the city as well.

I highly recommend it, very clean and good area, plus good view.

Clean room

The room was a bit small, but comfortable and clean. The front desk staff was very nice. The elevators take forever at check out time.

Clean room, helpful staff, easy access to NYC sights

Short walk to Time Square and other popular places. Convenient to food and shopping.

I booked a room with King size bed, but given 2 double bed.When asked the front desk, the staff is rude. I was told that it depends on availability and I booked thru 3rd party ? I booked the hotel weeks ahead. No apology or empathy from staff.

If this is your first visit to NY, Hilton Garden Inn is the best choice. Time square is 5 mts walk from here. So is NBC studio and few other really great attractions. The hotel staff is super friendly. We were helped a lot by them especially Samson who was amazing. Definitely looking forward to go again!

Nice and cozy. Right by Time square and surprisingly quiet!
