Homewood Suites by Hilton Pittsburgh Downtown

Stayed as a family of 4. Used the pullout couch which had a mattress cover that was stained and looked as if it had seen better days. Asked for a new one and it was delivered promptly. Pull out mattress was thin and not very comfortable. The room would be perfect if we didn't need to use the pull out couch. Bathroom was clean and shower was spacious. Room was also very spacious. Full refrigerator, microwave, stove and sink. Breakfast was included and offered with healthy options such as overnight oats and chia seeds as well as the standard eggs, bagels and cereal. Outdoor patio with fire pit was a nice place to hang out. Had BBQs for use as offered BBQ tools at the front desk. Front desk and everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Overall great stay.

Staff was very friendly and gave awesome insight on the city of tourist places to visit as it was our first time in the area. Some of the best service I’ve received, over and above service. Collette helped make our trip a great time! The property is a mile from the Strip and we also enjoyed our hotel room. I’d definitely stay here again.

Only problem was that you could hear people walking around.

I had to wait nearly an hour for an upgraded room which I hadn’t requested. When the desk clerk explained, I asked for a standard room which was ready. She was very polite and helpful. I REALLY dislike the half-door shower enclosure! Not only does one side of the body stay cold while the other is warm, but the soap & shampoo is at the cold end of the space. Refrigerator ice maker didn’t work. I really appreciated the breakfasts and the Wednesday evening glass of wine.

Stayed 4 nights and only made the room up once. We never would have had clean towels if we didn’t ask for them. Couch had stains. No coffee replacement in our kitchen. No soap in our shower dispenser. No clear parking explanation.

So I would give a perfect 10 but did find a dirty sock on the couch. Overall, the hotel and room were very nice. Alexus, the manager, was great. And very nice. Staff was good. Parking was convenient and next to hotel. Walking distance to arena and baseball park. Museum right next door!! And restaurants and shopping a quick walk away. Definitely would stay there again.

We were extremely impressed with our stay at Homewood Suites, from the check-in staff to the large room, all the amenities were great. Pool table and lots of room to relax in the lobby area were a plus as well, pool, gym...everything! Highly recommend

While the facility was clean, the sitting area in our room had a terrible odor that we immediately noticed. Since no other rooms were available and we were out of the room most of the time, we had to put up with the smell for our two night stay. Also, parking in the underground garage (if available) was precarious.

The staff was awesome. We had booked 2 nights separately and they changed the reservations quickly so that we didn't have to change rooms. The couch/pillows in room were stained and carpet needs replacing. Otherwise, no complaints, nice atmosphere and decor. We enjoyed our weekend stay!

The number one thing we liked about staying here was the friendly and helpful staff. Also, the rooms were spacious, having a fridge was helpful as we were bringing some food to an event in Pittsburgh and needed to keep it cool. The location was great. The complimentary breakfast was very good, too. Highly recommend.
