AKA 華盛頓圓環飯店

Very close to RR Airport about 20m drive thus you could hear airplane noise frequently during daytime. While it’s much less at night to barely hear them. The studio room is very spacious with modern deco and nice amenities (love the coffee). Staff are very friendly and always ready to help with big smiles, especially doorman who helped us with luggage when we left.  Major problem is the noise, not to mention ambulances (super loud when they come, but also better during night time), biggest bug is the AC in the room. If you turn it on, it makes huge sound every 5 seconds with a machine just beside the bed. We turned it off since the days are cool, but not cold (OCT) hence we don’t necessarily need it. Cannot imagine in hot and cold days when AC is necessary. I think this problem must be fixed or it’s impossible to sleep with AC on. 

Good location, whole foods and good restaurants nearby. Called front desk several times for comforter. Takes 1 hour to sent to the room.

We really wanted to enjoyed our stay at Hotel AKA Washington Circle. Check-in was smooth, and I really appreciated that they accommodated an early arrival. The room was very clean, well-kept, and matched the online photos. The balcony was a nice touch. The also offer a free washer/dryer which was great - they did provide a free box of Tide (travel size). Perfect for not wanting to take dirty clothes home. Transit transit transit was phenomenal! It’s close, easy and super convenient. But the in-room bar prices were out-damn-rageous. And the real dealbreaker was the noise: I could hear everything through the adjoining door — conversations, bathroom sounds, toilet flushes — like we were all in the same room. On top of that, the cleaning staff in the hallway sounded like they were standing in my room, and constant ambulance sirens made it worse. So while the hotel nailed cleanliness and service, the noise kept it from being restful. If you’re sensitive to sound, this may not be the best choice.

The staff was great. We needed to check in early which they accommodated, though at the steep price of $200. The room was nice. I wish the showers had a little more power. They are very pet friendly, more so than at any hotel I’ve ever stay. The metro is a quick 5 min walk away and there are plenty of store and restaurants around. Best of all…no national guard ruining your view if such a beautiful city. This will def be my new go-to for stays in DC.

I love the AKA brand and this one did not disappoint! From the quality of the room to the service, I very much enjoyed my experience. I can’t wait to come back. I traveled with my husband and infant. This was the perfect stay for a family. They provided us with an excellent pack and play and brand new sheets for the baby mattress. Fresh out the package. I can’t say enough about the stay!

I loved the location, it was quiet and safe.

We really wanted to like this property but sadly we had to leave after one night.

Excellent location and clean rooms. The only issue i found was the loud AC noise in the room. Will highly recommend this place.
