Wonderful location and great boutique hotel! Walking distance from grand central, Bryant park and 10-15min walk to other attractions (MoMA etc). Rooms are super clean - no view from the windows but not an issue given the views are just an elevator away!

This is a very comfortable hotel with excellent service. The staff there are super nice and friendly! They provided breakfast and wine around 6pm during your stay too! However, this is very noisy as it is next to a main road and the garbage bus come and collect garbage around 3am. This is a pain

Older boutique hotel close to Bryant park. Hotel in good condition and clean with nice rooftop bar, snack area and restaurant. Price is very high for what you get with a small room. Hotel also under heavy repairs/ maintenance so hidden by all the scaffolding.

Very disappointing. Not worth the price. Room extremely small. TV small and hard to see. Bed uncomfortable. “Free” breakfast (except for the tip we had to pay) ordinary and tasteless. Bathroom tiny and seemed out of the 1980s. I was expecting so much more for the price we paid. Will never come back to a Library hotel again.

Carpet was very dirty

This hotel was a short walk to restaurants and many attractions. It was located in a safe area and had many great amenities. One of our favorite was 24 hr access to beverages and snacks on the second floor. We will be returning again.

We loved having 24 hr access to the 2nd floor for coffee, beverages and snacks.

This was our first time staying at the Library Hotel and we will definitely be returning whenever we visit New York. It is centrally located and walking distance to broadway shows. The second floor had snacks, coffee, waters and beverages that made it convenient to get 24 hrs a day. All of the staff that we encountered were extremely courteous and made our week long stay enjoyable.

The hotel was so cozy and staff was helpful and attentive to our needs with a car, parking and luggage! The room was clean and so cozy! The rooftop bar was perfect for. Beautiful summer night and drinks were made perfect by the staff. The reading room on the second floor was a nice and special place to relax. We shall return!

The hotel is not labeled on the outside- the door looks like you’re going into a restaurant which is adjoining. Once you finally figure that out and see there’s a restaurant to the left and books to the right, you assume you made it to the Library and finally see a check in desk. That part was a pain in the rear- we walked up and down the street a bit trying to figure out how to get in. That said..! Once we got in- beautiful hotel and room, check in and service were great. Quaint feeling in a big city with a nice rooftop bar. Each room has a cute theme- made for great conversation starters with our group on business travel. I’d stay again for sure.

Library Hotel was a great stay! Rooms were clean and comfortable, with nice little library-related touches. Loved that we had fruit-infused water, water bottles and fruit and snacks and a casual place to hang out in the Reading Room - it could have been even better if there were more cushy couches/arm chairs but every hotel definitely needs a reading room! Thanks for a great stay!

Great property and enjoyed stay immensely.

Thoroughly enjoyed my short stay here. I was in the "Management" room on the 6th floor. Small, but more than ample. Books everywhere, which was a delight. Also enjoyed time in The Reading Room area and the Bookmarks Lounge. Would most definitely stay here again.

Cozy quiet and easy access to transport and theater restaurants Very cozy comfortable rooms

We had a lovely time at the Library Hotel. It’s very cozy place with a great rooftop bar and a nice lounge with snacks, tea, coffee, and soft drinks included. Best of all it’s a very short walk to Bryant Park, Grand Central, the theater district, and it’s easy to get any where in the city from the location.

Like 24 hour access to snacks. Would like better access to ice. Would have liked extended checkout

We switched hotels and came here. The room was cleaning, service was great, and amenities were incredible.

Great hotel! Staff was super friendly & helpful. Great location, very walkable & centrally located. Would stay here again when visiting NYC.
