Perfect stay close to Mohonk Mountain House. The breakfast buffet was an added bonus. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had all the essentials.

Beautiful lodge with nice rooms. We were upgraded to a mountain view which was very pretty. The lobby is quite ski lodge like and comfortable. The breakfast was large enough and tasty. My only complaint is the air conditioner. It was very loud and woke us up several times during the night. Our bathroom was not one of the updated ones but was clean and roomy. We would definitely stay here again.

We've stayed here before and once again the front desk was very accommodating, the room is clean, beds comfy,pillows are awesome. I'm looking forward to the view and breakfast in the morning. Oh, also....very convenient to Minnewaska. Love it here!

Best location for the Gunks

A truly beautiful spot, and friendly, helpful staff.

This is a really cute and clean property! The large common areas are very lodge-like and breakfast is good too. The staff is very nice and helpful. I highly recommend this for a couple of days to relax.

We absolutely loved our stay with the Minnewaska Lodge and our certain we’ll be back! Everything about our stay was lovely from the incredible beautiful property, outdoor and indoor seating Adirondack style, hiking trails, fire pits, and dog friendly amenities, not to mention very personable staff absolutely well manicured grounds & great cliff view from our balcony… only thing- room needed a little help with supplies, but other than that, it was perfect! If you can add parking spaces to the top level, that would be convenient for some of us who struggle with walking uphills a bit.. but again minimal issue for such an enjoyable stay!

The lodge is a great place to stay while enjoying all that the area around Minnewaska/New Paltz has to offer…great hiking, climbing, and just a lot of natural beauty in this part of NY State. The Mountain Brauhaus (within a minute walking distance) is a gem for lunch, dinner, or just a quick bite and a tasty beer!

Nestled at the majestic foot of the Gunks, Minnewaska Lodge in Gardiner, NY, offers an absolutely beautiful and unforgettable stay. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the lodge's charming rustic elegance and the evident pride taken in its upkeep. Maggie and Matt at Minnewaska Lodge are true hospitality specialists and top-notch. Every interaction was met with warmth and efficiency, making us feel genuinely welcomed and well-cared for throughout our visit. Our room was not only charming but also spotlessly clean, a testament to the lodge's high standards. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the breakfast. It was truly tremendous and went above and beyond our expectations. The spread was generous, featuring an array of fresh fruit, cereals, and hot options. The freshly made pastries were a particular standout, adding a delightful touch of indulgence to our mornings. For outdoor enthusiasts, the Minnewaska Lodge is ideally situated. We loved having a hiking trail right on-site, offering immediate access to the stunning natural beauty of the area. Practical amenities like plenty of parking also made our stay completely hassle-free. Beyond the comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast, the lodge provides wonderful communal spaces. The outdoor seating areas and inviting fire pits offer perfect spots to relax, socialize, and soak in the serene surroundings after a day of exploration. Minnewaska Lodge is a true gem.

A perfectly delightful Continental breakfast sent us on our way. The fireflies were amazing! The room was silent and the grounds were beautiful. The view of the mountains from our balcony was spectacular.

Cliff view is stunning. Stayed one night because of proximity to an event. Check in was less than smooth was told there was a problem with my card ,issued another, and was told it was still my fault. Turns out, I was properly charged at checkout so none of that was even necessary. Also, exactly 3:15pm on a Saturday there seemed to be someone on their hands and knees manually sanding the front deck. For such a quiet place, this was not an ideal way to enter. Woke up tried to take a hot shower and what came out was warm. Would have been silly (as offered) to switch rooms at that point as were were just trying to leave. Discussed this with staff upon checkout, any compensation seems inconclusive and suggested we do not use Expedia in future to book. Price way too high for these kinds of issues.

The staff was so friendly and very accommodating with everything. The location was quaint and central to everything we wanted to do in the area. I loved the lodge vibe and outdoor area as well. The morning complimentary breakfast was perfect and offered a wide variety of choices. I would stay here again. Thank you!

This was my third stay at Minnewaska lodge. I always love it. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, the bath products are lovely smelling, and there is plenty of room in the dining/sitting area and outside by the firepit to relax and socialize or read . The staff are always friendly and go above and beyond. The private woodland setting is a wonderful base for visiting the area.

Need some update

10/10 would stay here again. Spectacular location and service! The rooms had gorgeous views. The property is well-maintained and quiet. The common room was a joy to sit in, with delicious free cookies in the afternoons and smores for toasting in the outdoor fire pits in the evenings. The breakfast bar was also great. Free parking. You can’t beat the location — only an 8 minute drive to Minnewaska State Park and across the street from a great German restaurant. Lastly, this was dog friendly!

Peaceful

We had a wonderful stay. The lodge is very comfortable, the views of the back porch are spectacular, the trails are fun to explore, and all the people that work at the lodge are very nice and helpful.
