Ojai valley Inn never disappoints. The service is top notch, the grounds are beautiful. They cater to your furry friend too although we did not bring ours this time. Brought our road bikes and felt secure leaving them in valet with the car. The spa pool is so relaxing and the cafe makes delicious drinks and bites. The Oak was a relaxed and delicious meal. Town is a short walk away to explore additional restaurants too.

-the pixie pool was too crowded with kids AND the huge floats that are allowed -people were wearing “MAGA” apparel -when I booked the “shangri-la” room I assumed it would be in the shangri-la building so I could be close to the pool with my kids but we were in Los Parsees, way too far and when I asked to be moved the hotel couldn’t accommodate -I stayed for three days and when I checked in I was told that my EV car would be charged. Upon checking out, after three full days my car was not charged and I had to stop at a charging station on the edge of town. -overall not a relaxing or positive experience, sadly will be our last visit to OVI for a while

Phenomenal place to get your mind body and spirit right. I went solo and can say enough amazing things about the intentional details that were noticed at every level.

It took them 3 hours to check us in. I had asked to give us golf course view but they gave us street view.

Food service very slow. 15 min just to get coffee in the am. Property super outdated. Lipstick makeover. Public bathrooms not the cleaniest. Phones in room didnt work so Couldnt order room service. Shuttler service customer service wasnt that nice.

Beautiful view, nice property, with golf & tennis, family friendly, but then you see toddlers with diaper in the pool as well as big inflatables. For dining, since we didn't have a reservation, we had to wait 45min to be seated, because there were not any other dining option open at the hotel; For a 5 star "luxury" hotel, we expected for hotel guests to have priority over outside guests or at least for the hotel to have bigger restaurants. The other restaurant was a pub. The food was above average. For breakfast, the bacon I ordered was dry and probably sitting in the kitchen for a bit.

This is a beautiful, tranquil property and the staff was off the charts helpful and friendly.

Staying was better than expected

Seems like service has gone downhill a bit. I had a problem with my reservation causing me to be locked out of my room one afternoon. Also had to call to get our room serviced and no turn down one night. The staff used to be 5 stars but seems to be lacking a bit all around now.

Overall it was a very good experience, but the food options (particularly dinner) were very “generic resort”and disappointing.
