good apartment and good location.

The idea was good, the result was poor. The place needs to be fine tuned a little bit more.

This “property” is some dudes 3 floor condo. If you are ok with a 1980’s condo with paper thin walls that hasn’t been updated since it was built this is the place for you!! I had a nice conversation with the homeless dude that lives in the basement. This is not a hotel. We cleaned it when we got there (gritty floors are annoying) and when we left, there are no amenities again hard to stress this enough this is not a hotel, it’s an apartment building.

Overall it was good. We were super bummed our tv didn’t work though.

Nice place. Didn’t take long to feel like home. Full modern kitchen. Living room has sofa bed big enough for two. Two king size beds instead of the description of king and queen. Three floors. 3rd is bed room with bath and two closets. 2nd is kitchen, living room, pantry, laundry, patio, dining room. 1st is master bed room with bath and two closets in the room and one outside the room. Lots of scooters and bikes to rent close by. Water pressure in the shower wasn’t there. Top floor shower moaned when water was on. No problems with internet or WiFi. Says no parking but we got luck enough to have two parking spots for room 135. Call one hour before check in. I would stay here again.

The apartment I stayed in was fantastic. The staff at Pelican Stay were very attentive and made sure they fully informed me of my responsibilities. I would stay here again!

Our stay at the place was great. My family really enjoyed it. And there was plenty to do and there was alot of restaurants near by

The apartment is nice and in a nice, quiet area near downtown. Check in was very inconvenient, as they will not check you in before 3pm, you have to wait for a representative to arrive at the building, and there isn't an exact spot to meet them provided in the instructions. I arrived in San Diego at 9am and had to cart around my luggage all day until I could meet with the rep while just standing on the streetside with my bags. I happened upon another guest later in the week (stayed 5 nights) who was having the same check in experience I had waiting on the street, and was equally unpleased as I was. They will not allow you to change your reservation to add nor remove a night, as I tried both due to my trip itinerary changing for my work. The price was a good price per night, but I definitely paid for it in inconvenience and inflexibility.

Convenient location, close to everything. Service and communication was excellent.

I was staying with a group of friends and we were very close to the convention center which was what we were looking for to make our stay easier. It was also very quiet which pleasantly surprised us. Be sure to look for the text message that day about your arrival time or you may have to wait for someone to check you in!

Amazing property . Very clean spacious and the best part about it is that everyone was very accommodating and quickly answered questions and provided everything we needed . I was there for my 10 year friendship anniversary and we came from out of town and it was excellent the location. All in all we were very satisfied and we will be staying there again .

No one cleaned the rooms nor changed towels. Carpets are dirty. Charged me $25 cash for late arrival and didn't provide receipt. No formal service desk. Random guy just showed up took us to the rooms and requested a copy of driver's license and my credit card, which he took photos of with his phone and disappeared. I never seen anyone again. Waste of money.

It’s a great place. If your aim is to be in downtown it’s a little further up the hill. A short Uber/Lyft ride to Gaslamp. My only complaint is the shower had weak water pressure. The sink had more water flowing out of it. Upstairs bed was a little on the soft side for my liking as well. Tri level room with one bedroom at the 1st floor level, living room and kitchen on the 2nd floor level, and the 2nd bedroom on the 3rd floor level. This was great for privacy.

Spacious, clean and walking distance to anything you need. Nice place to stay.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean and comfortable. We could have used a few more towels.
