Stay at this property usually once a a year, convenient location. Good value.

We've stayed here before, and the external paint job was an improvement, and the rooms are comfortable, but the place really needs a facelift. Wood is coming off the furniture, the windows are old, the heater is ancient altho functional, the shower curtain had holes, and the tub was worn.

It was okay. It served its purpose.

Everyone was so nice and helpful at Ramada Arcata. The room was very clean, the beds were very comfortable, and all the staff we interacted with were enthusiastically helpful. This property is showing some wear and while the neighborhood is fine, outer doors were unlocked and there was no lighting on exterior stairs. We also had to ask for extra TP, soap, and towels during our 3-night stay. Mexican restaurant next door will give you 10% off for staying nearby; it offers generous portions and decently priced, good tasting Mexican food. We spent most of the time hiking and had great access to the parklands north of us.

I love the location. The only thing I didn’t like was at the doors to the entrance to the hotel don’t have a lock so anyone can go in and out where the rooms are at.

I liked the location of the property to the highway and nearby restaurant.

We have stayed here many times. It is always clean. The staff are nice. Beds comfortable.

It was a good 2 night option

Just a one night stay as part of a road trip. Hotel is tired, was clean but could benefit from an update. Breakfast was just ok. Tenge breakfast room was small and cramped. Food options were basic.

Good quiet area clise to the college

Hotel is very old. Floor dirty. Microwave is at least 40 years old. Air conditioning can not be adjusted, so it does not stop the whole night. Places to eat around were closed very early.

The room was clean, BUT walking barefoot on the floor did not feel clean. The bathroom sink faucet had white residue where it met the counter. The bathtub sink had mildew stains and needs to be dug out and replaced after cleaning with bleach. One of the chairs was badly worn on the wood parts and should either refinished or replaced. A trash can outside near the door was full and trash piled up around a cardboard box besside it. This was not cleaned up in the three days we were there. The breakfast options were very good and relatively fresh. The attendant there needs to clean up spills around the juice and waffle batter dispensers more frequently. More tables and chairs for patrons would be good but interior space is limited; perhaps an extension or outdoor area with a couple of tables would suffice.

I liked the gated property. I felt safe and didn’t worry about my vehicle . I really liked how classy and professional the entire staff was. They were very friendly and accommodating . We will definitely stay here again. Thank you Ramada. 😊

Terrible experience. Got back to the room at 9 pm after a long day of hiking, door would not open even with the receptionist’s master key. Waited an hour in the lobby before they could get the door open. After that, door would not close properly. Felt unsafe. Went to the gym and found treadmill was not working. Tried to reset it and it threw me off the machine. Again, hotel staff was unable to help. I was told to just walk outside 😒

The room was ok, definitely older motif. The breakfast was good. My main complaint is that they charged me $20 for a towel that had coffee on it. My husband spilled his coffee and wiped it up. I guess we should have left it?? They refused to refund that charge, but luckily hotels.com went ahead and took care of me anyway. I will never stay at a Ramada or Wyndham property again. However, I will continue to use hotels.com.

The property was older and needs some updating.Pressure washing of sidewalks and weeding of la dacaping. The room was clean as well as the beds. The tub could not be used for a bath. Staff was very friendly. The hot breakfast could use more variety. We were there 3 nights and it was the same every day. The eggs seemed to be made from powdered eggs. Sausage did not look fesh.

Breakfast was standard, nothing special. Bed was comfortable. Hotel was definitely old and probably needs to be updated and cleaned.

Sand between the sheets. Furnishings and fixtures very worn. Hall carpeting badly stained: they wisely traded carpeting for vinyl flooring in the room. Ventilation works. Tiny breakfast area with the usual uninspiring items. Toni's, the diner next door, is great.

The hotel room was not very clean and I did not feel very safe.
